This is a fantastic book and the author has done a great job of helping the reader establish a thorough understanding of seismic principles and design methods. It provides very good conceptual questions and provisions of the ASCE 7-16 are explained and discussed in an easy to follow way. There are a couple of typos in the book, but I still highly recommended this source for the seismic test.

The practice exams gives realistic examples of problems you will see on the test. The problems have thorough solutions and explanations. This book also had good qualitative information. The difficulty was comparable to the test. I passed the seismic exam on my first attempt. I'd buy it again.
