V System- Motorbike Chain Oiler System From Scottoiler

Relatively simple install on Versys 650
I've had scottoilers before but I'd never fitted one. There's plenty of guides on the Internet on how to fit it to your model of bike so I'd looked at the one for my Versys 650 before ordering. The most fiddly part for me was the "needle" that delivers the oil to the sprocket are. So many pieces... But in the end the whole install took under an hour. She's primed and ready to go... Shame we're on lockdown.

Great product, been around for years
Any other bike it would have been 5 starts for fitting however I have a Triumph Tiger 800 2019 model and its a complete ……….. (guess the word) to fit. Spent five hours taking every panel and refitting to get to the vacuum pipe which is impossible to reach without removing, fairing, front mud guard, fog lights, petrol tank etc etc it all had to be removed. Its on now and set up so very happy how it oils the chain etc.

easy to fit, works as intended, scottoiler support are great if you need additional parts to fit
Great product, really easy to fit. I fitted this to a Kawasaki kle 500 1992. Had a snag where the vacuum elbow wouldn't fit over the vacuum bung on my carburettor, contacted scottoiler support and they sent out a 5mm vacuum elbow which did the job. So worth noting for anyone who fits this to a 91-98 Kawasaki kle 500 that you will need the 5mm vacuum elbow to install the vacuum line.

Looks harder to fit than it is.
Fitted this to a triumph speed triple. It was quite daunting to begin with because you have to cut into one of the bikes vacuum lines. They supplied the triumph specific fittings completely free when I asked for them. Fitting was much easier than I thought although the instructions at a load of generic diagrams with no words at all ( obviously designed for other languages) they aren’t mega easy to follow as each one represents a different set up depending on your bike. This will only oil one side of your chain though so I also purchased the scorpion .Once fitted you only have to get the oil flow rate right by simply turning a valve no tools required, and don’t forget to keep it topped up. All in all a good buy.

Good chain protection
Follow instructions to the letter works well but remember don't have the outlet to close to chain as it will block up and only have a slow drip or it gets messy great for all year round and prolongs chain life

As important for the longevity of ur chain as
It's a fabulous piece of kit that worksExtremely well and saves a lot of time putting oil on manually. I would not have a clue about fitting as my local bike mechanic does this for me
