Works, but not leak free
Threaded right into the barrel with no issues. Leaks a little, but for my use its not important if it leaks some. Would probably be good if using a good high build sealer.

An actual 2” male buttress thread!
This 2” buttress thread fits most US drum bung holes! Worked with the plastic 55-gallon drums I have. Of course, they sold out instantly.

Does not fit
I read all the reviews and was hopeful but these did not fit my 55 gallon drums. Was too big. As I spent way to much money on these I used a heat gun and cut away portions of my drum thread. Then with great force they went half way in which would do for my project. Looks like crap but I’ll have to deal with it.

Complete trash
Bought two to use in a rain barrel application and they both broke at the male threads when HAND TIGHTENED! Also be aware that NPS threads on PVC fittings will bottom out on this without fully engaging.
