A Versatile and Powerful Household Staple (with a little caution)
I've been using this food-grade hydrogen peroxide for about six months now, and it has completely replaced several other products in my cleaning cabinet. The main selling point for me was its versatility and the fact that it's a more eco-friendly option than harsh chemical cleaners. My primary use is for cleaning and disinfecting my kitchen and bathroom. I keep a diluted solution in a spray bottle (following the dilution instructions on the bottle very carefully!) and use it on my countertops, cutting boards, and sink. It works wonders on stubborn stains, and I love the peace of mind knowing I'm using something that breaks down into water and oxygen. It's a fantastic alternative to bleach for sanitizing surfaces that come into contact with food, and it leaves behind no harsh chemical smell. I've also used it to brighten laundry, especially whites that have started to yellow. A capful in the washing machine has brought my towels back to life. It’s also been surprisingly effective on removing tough pet stains from carpet and upholstery. The foaming action on contact with organic material is a great visual indicator that it's working. One important note is that this is not your typical 3% hydrogen peroxide. The concentrated nature means you have to handle it with care. I always wear gloves when mixing a new batch of my diluted solution, and I keep the original bottle stored safely away from children and pets. The "food grade" label means it doesn't contain the stabilizers found in regular peroxide, but it's crucial to remember that it is still a powerful chemical and should never be ingested. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product. It's a concentrated, effective, and multi-purpose cleaner that is well worth the investment. Just be sure to read the safety warnings and dilution instructions before you use it!

A must have with many uses!
This stuff is essential in my household! And since I don’t live near a store that sells it, Amazon prime is my go to for purchasing it. Also, I really don’t have the patience to mix the higher percentage H2O2 and that is sometimes sold on amazon for a cheaper price per ounce. Plus the higher percentage H2O2 requires you to mix it with water to turn it into the 3% stuff and it can seriously burn your skin without gloves and undivided attention. And it requires a funnel and measuring and another bottle. These days I don’t have time for that. I love that I can come to Amazon, and order this brand and bottle of the food grade H2O2 in 3%, and be done with it! There are sooo many uses for food grade H2O2. Personally in my home, I use it for the following: In the bathroom: -As a mouthwash. I’m allergic to peppermint so I can’t use most mouthwashes. Plus Food grade H2O2 whitens teeth and fights receding gums and gingivitus. (There are medical journals proving this info. Just ask Dr. Google.) - To sanitize toothbrushes that fall on the floor, or when my young daughter accidentally uses mine. -You can use it to clean a wound or a pimple. Note: Do not put it on your face before using vitamin C serum. The vitamin C and H2O2 combined, create a type of vitamin C that can actually age the skin and cause inflammation. Just to be clear, separately, both are safe to use on skin. **Warning: these might be TMI or gross and are really for WOMEN only** -I put 3-6 cap fulls in my daughters bath if she’s having yeast issues or vaginitis from being a little kid who isn’t as clean or ‘thorough’ as adults are. Plus some say the extra oxygen in the water is good for your health. (I have a book that discusses the oxygen in the water being good for you from H2O2, but I haven’t personally researched to see if there are legitimate studies on this.) -For women to read ONLY: If have a yeast infection you can soak a cotton ball in food grade H2O2 ( do not use the drug store non food grade variety!) and insert it into you as you squeeze out the H2O2 from the cotton ball so that it soaks your inside parts and your outside parts. Then remove it immediately obviously. It’s messy but it works. You can do this once a day until it’s gone but it gets rid of it quickly within 1-2 days. DO NOT do this if you have any sort of raw skin or a small cut for obvious reasons. In the Kitchen: To sanitize the kitchen counter or butcher block after handling raw meat. - to sanitize anything that won’t rust in which food touches, that you can’t put in a dishwasher. (Make sure to let it sit for 10 minutes to sanitize For Plants/Gardening: -If your house plants are in plastic containers they will surely benefit from putting H2O2 in their regular waterings from time to time. You can mix about 80% water and 20% of this food grade H2O2(3%) in your watering device with 80% water. This keeps the soil aerated, which helps the roots get the oxygen they need, especially in non porous or “breathing” planters like plastic pots. I do this to my house plants, which are in plastic and terra cotta pots about 1 in 4 waterings if they are healthy. -If your plants are overwatered or fighting root rot, I would increase the amount to 40-50% H2O2 verses water in your watering device. Of course, some plants are more finicky so if you have a temperamental orchid or begonia etc., start with a lower amount of H2O2 and see how it goes. -To kill disease/fungus/mold on a plant surface. I’ve used full strength H2O2 on a cactus cutting that started getting root rot before I planted it. And full strength on a succulent cutting. I’ve used a weaker H2O2 ratio to water sprayed on leaves for certain fungal diseases. But I don’t have a direct go-to ratio that I use in this case because every scenario and plant is different. If you wanted ratios for foliage spray, you can ask Google the Gardener. - For rooting cuttings in water, a little bit of this keeps the rot away. -For keeping flowers fresh in vases a little bit of this helps the flowers last longer. -For succulents dying from being overwatered, a watering of half H2O2/half water may save them. -If you have some ugly fungus lingering in the soil like ‘Rust’ then this will kill it. But it will also kill your earth worms so consider this before pouring into the ground! -To sanitize garden tools -H2O2 will also kill poisonous spiders and ants if you’re under attack and in a pinch. Note: I have used regular H2O2 on my plants but they don’t respond as well to the drugstore stuff compared to this food grade H2O2. If you’re reading these reviews then you probably already know that the regular H2O2 is filled with junk, so if you have a fondness for plants then you’ll understand that your plants don’t want that junk in their planters anymore than you do in your body. And if you’re using the regular H2O2 in your veggie garden, then those chemicals could end up back in your body after you eat your harvest. One last note, I’m sure there are reviews on here discussing this; but in case not, you can drink food grade H2O2 for your health by adding a tiny bit to your water bottle each day. There are protocols and discussions about this around the internet. Several years ago, I purchased a book about this called “The One Minute Cure” after going to an alternative type doctor for health issues. Personally, my stomach could never get used to the H2O2 but some people swear that drinking H2O2 is s a life changer.
