When I received this item I was not much excited at the first look. I have ordered One small for carrying two pens and one Extra Large for carrying 20 Cartridges for a 60 day tour from India to US. I decided to try and test the smaller one if not good I will return the Larger one. But the result is unbelievable and amazing. After activation I used it for carrying 2 insulin pens during our two day travel to Delhi. The outer temperature was around 32-34* C. After using it for three days I left it for de-activation but to my surprise the inner temperature maintained till four days when left at room temp. around 22-25*C. Earlier it was very difficult to manage insulin with ICE PACKS during long journeys. But thanks to FRIO for inventing such a wonderful product. Very easy to carry in your hand purses and baggage. Now my insulin managing worries are over. Excellent Innovation. The only low point is that it takes 6-7 days to fully de-activate and become normal.

It is really a good insulin cooling bag. But too expensive.

This Frio Extra Large Insulin Cooling Travel Wallet is really excellent than the Jel pouch which I was using before. The Jel pouch need to be refrigerated for min 5~6 hrs prior to carry out for travel & used to maintain the cold condition for max 6 hrs. Also it need to be handled carefully as the Jel was stored in plastic pouch. Compared to this, the Frio cooling wallet is simple & effective. It maintains the cooling effectively for more than 24 hrs. Thanks FRIO.

Extra Large size bag is actually very small. Size not disclosed in description. Actual size is 16 cm * 21 cm which is not serving the purpose. After activation internal temprature more than 25 degree celcius . So not fit for insulin . Bag very highly priced. Not worth more than Rs 300.

I used it 24 hours. But not recommended for 48 hours.

Works fine for more than 2 days too . Though maximum of 5 pens can be accumulated into it because the size of bag expands after dipping the bag in water . Making it difficult for more pens to accumodate .

Used only once, but didn't find any issues. Stayed chilled enough to transport the insulin for overall 14 hours journey including airport transit.
