The Cido Aluminum Windscreen is meant to work in conjunction with our wood burning Solo Stove. Added protection against the elements will allow you to achieve faster boil times. With the wind blocked, efficiency increases and you'll also use less fuel for each burn. The extendable ground pegs allows for a stable setup. The 8-panel design allows you to configure the windscreen in a number of shapes and folds together nicely after each use.

Good tall wind screen
Good tall wind screen. The metal rods that connect the panels are good and snug to prevent the panels from disconnecting and falling apartThat's a big concern because a similar one I had, the rods fell out and the panels fell apart. if this is your first wind screen of this type, know that when you set this up around a stove because it is windy, it won't take much wind to push some parts of the wind screen into the stove because it is light weight. out in the field you could use some rocks to keep the screen's shape or being blown towards the stove.

I make certain concessions in weight for things like a self-inflating sleep pad and a warm sleeping bag
So I've pared down a lot of my hiking/backpacking gear to reduce weight. I make certain concessions in weight for things like a self-inflating sleep pad and a warm sleeping bag. This also includes the Cido windscreen. Maybe not as light as some, but solid and dependable. I just got back from hiking in the Shenandoah when the sky was dark, winds 20-40, spitting snow and lots of cold river crossings. Was really glad for this windscreen in high wind! Works like a champ in high wind!

Decent for Outdoor kitchen use - not as heavy as I had hoped.
I got it to use it on my outdoor burners in the "outdoor kitchen". I live in Florida and need to cook outside during the summer. My use is different than camping. It is light enough and folds into a decent pouch, so it would be easy to carry with your camping gear. I felt like it did not seem as heavy as I wanted, so when it got windy (not too windy), the screen would tend to move on the granite outside; may not be an issue if it is on the dirt on the ground. The screen did not flip over with the wind.Overall, it has been useful and helps controls the wind (I bought two, one for each side of the burner). Cooking is faster, since the flame blows much less. For $10 I was expecting something more sturdy looking, and that is the reason for the 4 stars.

It's a worthwhile inclusion with the stove.
This is strictly for a stored Prepper pack,so I haven't use-tested it,but on inspection it looks practical. From experience, high winds in outdoors with a fire are a handful. This might have to have a couple of stakes or rocks against it in hard wind.I'm also looking at including some window screen to catch sparks from my wood fire before Smoky the Bear shows up!This will definitely help keep in some heat in cold weather.I'm waiting to go to a state park or somewhere cooking fires are allowed, outside this metropolitan neighborhood, where I can give this rig a full test.

Perfect for my one burner butane stove
I used this for a butane stove while camping. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be (not the product's fault) but worked great. I was able to cook up a nice hot breakfast very quick and easy despite there being a decent breeze outside.

Best product ever!!
It work good with my small bushstove and added security to the flame in not burning it out. Good product I haven't had any problems with it. Highly recommended to used for camping.

Nice Screen
Love how easily this sets up and packs down. Nothing fancy but it does what I need it to do. Great addition to my cooking set.
