Cryopak Flexible Ice Blanket 16.5 x 11.66-Inch (6 Pack)

These stay cold for about 12 hours. I bought some of the Cryopak Hard Shell Reusable Ice Packs and I felt those were inferior overall (4 hours cold). These do a fantastic job for Ice chests if you are looking for an ICE bag replacement; they work much better that the packs and allow you to line the inside of the chest and layer them between the food, which helps radiate the cold. They may be a bit more expensive, but they are worth the additional cost. They have held up well and are easy to roll up and freeze; they take very little space in the freezer. Also if one of the small sections breaks--no big deal. The rest of the unit is just fine and will keep working. If one of the packs leaks you are sol.

My sister found that an ice pack sometimes helps relieves her neuropathy. When she visited me I had 2 Crypak ice bags in the freezer that I used for my cooler, and they were comforting to her but bulky. I went on line on Amazon, and wella, found these sheets. They were perfect for the seat of her wheelchair and for lying on in bed. The Crypak blanket (16.5 x 11.66") stayed cold for hours. She did need to have a towel over them sometimes 2-3 layers thick to keep from getting too cold. They have been a great help to relieve some of her pain. I've recommended this product to my brother who also has neuropathy, as well as told other friends who may have aches and pains. I really like that the sheets are in small panes so that the sheets are flexible. Great product!

Quality wise, these blankets are great. I had ordered these in the past and they fit perfectly in a Velcro belt to hold them in place. The size or design has been changed somewhat as they don't fit as well as the last order, but again, this is my only complaint, albeit a small one.

I use these for trips to Costco. I always stressed about buying refrigerated / frozen foods there - not any more. I grab a box there & layer these ice sheets between my items & don't have to stress or rush to get home. The old school blue ice blocks were always sliding everywhere but on my food, these stay nicely in place because they are slim & compact & fully cover what ever it is that I am buying. These sweat a lot, but that is not a deal breaker for me. These ice sheets keep everything cold, even for extended periods of time. These are the perfect solution for my purposes.

I have owned this product for a very long time and this was to purchase more. They are very expensive to ship but they are very heavy when you order in bulk. They are the greatest for cooling your food during the summer months when grocery shopping or just bringing things to a cookout that need to be kept cold. They keep your food dry yet maintain the cold for almost 24 hours in a cooler. You can use them personally if you are injured and need to put ice on your injury. They are not bulky like an ice cube and easily can wrap around your leg or arm to remove swelling and pain. When ever I bring them to a party someone will ask if they can keep them. They take very little room in your freezer and can fold to fit most any cooler. I don't use them medically but they are great for keeping food cold during the summer months.

Had this order sent to my sister so she could try them out. We have used these ice blankets for many years for an aching back, sore muscles, swelling, and for coolers. Love the versatility to be able to cut them to size. Have made cotton ice pack covers for the various sizes we use for sore joints and muscles (the flexibility of these is a real plus). We use them in coolers when grocery shopping. Over time, the cells leak, but that's OK, we still continue to use them because not all cells leak at once. These are the best and will continue to order them. Have even taken them to bed on those hot, muggy nights; put a row of them in a headband when working in the garden. Like we said, versatile.

As a diabetic ,, I have found that they works for several different issue that I face .In times of injury they help with swelling of the area injured. They also help in soothing areas of my body that ache. They also help with and cool the burning sensations that I suffer with from with nephropathy!I can think of hundreds of different ways that these may be used and i am sure that they well find a use for you too. Think about it and give them a try. ( Highly recommend )!

Great size for icing my lower lumbar spine, keeps cool for 20-30 minutes and freezes quickly. The down size is the little cells leak and you might find a wet bed or chair. I did use it in a small cooler where it wasn't flexed as much and it lasted long but I really need ice for my back.
