Romance of the Three Kingdoms X - PlayStation 2

Came to Amazon to replace my original copy after I wore it out. This is an in depth strategy game where the object is to unite China during the Three Kingdoms era. You must develop your hero, your cities, and your prefectures, and you must recruit new heros to help you in your quest. I have tried some of the other games in the Three Kingdoms series, but this is my favorite. It has the best mix of peacetime development strategy and hands-on combat. it reminds me very much of Bandit Kings of Ancient China for the old Nintendo system. The downside of this game is the historical mode. I don't care for the rigid structure or the campaign style of warfare, but I am certain there are those who do like them, and for me the fictional mode is so worth the price I paid it twice. I also enjoy the ability to create your own characters and add them to the cast. you can make them your main hero, have them work for you, or just let them loose in the world. It's pretty cool to walk into a bar in ancient China and Chen Zhen or Fa Mulan.

I HAS A SMALL CRACK IN THE PLASTIC PART IN THE MIDDLE. I NEED TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREAK IT.

ROTKX (for those that know)-brand new, unopened. It is exactly what wanted. If this company says they sell it new, they probably do as far I can tell.

My favorite game of the series. Strikes a nice balance between Ruler-based conquest mode and Officer life-sim mode. Tons of collectables and events to see and unlock, so there's tons of replay value in this game. If you're a fan of the series, or simply like historical sims/RoTK things, this is a must-own.

I order this for my grandson sometime back. I have never seen a young man read this over and over , and yes!, over again. He says it helps him, I say , Ok. Thanyou, MarieSmith
