High quality (tasty) product tarnished by fundamentally distasteful (low quality) price gouging.If a company has a surplus of foodstuff during a time when people are having trouble getting food,it would be of more enduring honor to lower the price and help people,than the short term specious honor of self-congratulation for exploiting the situation by price gouging.Which company would you want to do business with in the future?The genuinely honorable company or the sleaze bag opportunist company?

This is perfect rice for sushi!! I have a Zojurushi rice maker, and the rice turned out perfectly every time! The seller packages this very well, as the package is heavy I was afraid it would not arrive intact. But it was well packaged!Some people who have reviewed this product claim that it is from China. It is not from China, it is from Korea. The writing on the bag is in Korean as well as English.I will definitely buy again!

I have been buying Organic Brown Rice for the last 3 years. Every brand I bought smelled rancid. I even returned many bags but finally decided ALL Organic Brown Rice must smell that way. I couldn't find the least rancid smelling rice the other day so I ended up buying the McCabe Organic Brown Rice. I wish I had done a video of me opening the bag. My jaw dropped. There was NO rancid smell !! I must have checked it out 3 times to make sure. I am truly amazed.

I bought this rice because, during the pandemic, I could not get my regular brand. I am never going back. This rice is perfect - very flavorful and the right amount of stickiness - like the rice you get in Chinese restaurants. Well worth it. It is short grain, so requires a longer cooking time than the longer grain basmati and jasmine I had been buying (I was surprised by that). The seller was very prompt in delivery and the price is reasonable.

The main reason that I purchase this product is " organic." But, the quality of this product is slightly below average in term of grain size, cooking time, and sometime it contains powders originated from the pressing procedure. So, considering the high price of the product, the producer needs to improve the quality of this product.

I didn't know how to cook this rice when I purchased it so searched cooking methods. I bought it because all the store shelves were empty at my grocery. I was surprised at how much I like the flavor and my body likes this rice too. It feels light and nourishing to me. I cook it pretty much like regular longer grain rice, let it sit for 10 minutes and yes it is sticky. Yet I like it. I am actually preferring this, it feels cleaner than other organic rice I purchased. So, five stars from me.

I search for family farms and good production in place of corporate big AgriBiz.....I bought 12 pounds of short grain brown rice.This rice is fresh and has great flavor and great packaging....too!I am very satisfied and will buy from McCabe again.But give me a few months, 12 pounds is a lot of Rice!
