Best Sprinkler for Long Narrow Areas ever!
I have a garden that measures 78ft long by 8 feet wide. I had no idea how I was going to water this without wasting a ton of water. I found this hose online and almost didn't order it because some of the reviews were not that great but I am so thankful I did!! It is working amazingly!!! The width of the spray is just over 8 feet maybe around 9 feet. It contours perfectly around my planters, I staked it down to help it hold the curves. I am watering everything from garlic, onions, tomatoes, melons, and berry bushes with this!! I basically ran the hose down the middle of the garden with the spray pointed up, under my berry bushes I flipped it over at the base of the bushes and covered it with mulch to basically make it a drip line, then where it comes out of the bushes on the other side I just flipped it back over so the spray would be pointing up again. This hose it amazing. For people who complained that they couldn't tell which side was up- they need to get glasses. If you look closely you can see the pin holes plain as day. For people who complained that the material felt cheap- I tend to agree. BUT I think it adds to the flexibility of the hose- which may be the intention of the manufacturer. If the material was heavier I don't know how well it would bend and flip, etc. Will it last for more than one season? We will see- but at this point- even if it doesn't- I would buy it again.

Get What You Pay For
When I first used this hose I found it to be a pain to lay out, making sure it didn't twist and that I had the correct side pointing up, but it seemed to work well. The hose is very thin, so a breezy day will cause it to blow around making it difficult to lay out, putting a little water in it while laying it out helps. I had two areas to water, so would move it between those two spots, being careful not to pull on it too hard due to the thin material (have to gather it up when moving it rather than dragging it as one long piece). After using it for one week, the hose split at the seems near the hookup nozzle rendering it worthless. Would not recommend, which is too bad as it worked nicely for that first week.

if you're careful, this hose will do a great job!
if you're careful, this hose will do a great job.i'm using this hose to water my oddly shaped lawn and it works very well. if you need to water around corners or narrow patches along driveways, this hose can do wonders.others have written about an inability to change the length of this very long hose. unfortunately, they just don't know how to use the shortening mechanism built into the item. you simply slide the metal clip off of the end of the hose and adjust the red plastic cylinder to the measurement you need and then re-attach the clip. it's a very easy adjustment that offers limitless length options.there are also complaints about the difficulty in knowing which side is up when you're laying down the hose. this is definitely an issue. however, what you can do is use a permanent marker on the sprinkler side of the hose to mark the correct side. this way you can easily see which side is up or down.however, there is one big limitation i've encountered. the manufacturing is not very sturdy. if you make the mistake of dragging the hose around something sharp or rough, you run the risk of ripping the rubber. especially if the hose is full of water at the time. if you step on the metal hose end with any force, you will bend the material.because of the hose's poor construction, i couldn't rate it a 5.

Mine survived squirrel and armadillo attacks!
This thing is awesome ! I have had it all summer long and it has been put through pure heck. I lined it up against a long fence that I had hydrangeas and azaleas growing. I used to spend forever watering them. I would use the hose directly and even carry a water pitcher to them when they looked wilted. As I said I spent alot of time watering them. With this ,anytime a few looked wilted I just turned on about 30 minutes before dark and let it run for an half an hour. They have loved it! They have grown so much and much better than when I did it manually. Next year I am going to the other side of the fence the same way. I lost three azaleas and one gardenia on that side. Its been so very hot with very little rain this year. Keep in mind the side I had this hose I lost not one plant. I also want to tell you I was very concerned about squirrels and armadillos. And yes they attacked it. But somehow or another it made it. Not one leak caused by them. And trust me they were digging all around it and on top of it. My dog would bark and I would come at night with a flashlight and see a big armadillo on top just a clawing. I would say well there goes my sprinkler and the next day not one leak! I really have no idea why other than to credit the hose with being well made! Im not trying to sell anyone anything or tell you anything other than truth. My plants loved it and it made my work easier and it survived the varmints this whole summer. Hope that helps! [email protected]

Very delicate! But gets the job done.
Pretty good hose. It did the job until a deer came tromping through my yard and destroyed it. Which brings me to my main point. This hose is extremely delicate! It’s so thin that it doesn’t take much to puncture a hole in it, and then it’s pretty much useless. The end of the hose was kinda leaky, which caused the pressure to be a little low toward the front of the hose, but I put a paper clip on it and that helped. I’m going to buy another one and just pray that the deer doesn’t come back. Wish me luck!

Great Idea but doesn't work
This hose is exactly what I was looking for but it is so flimsy it didn't last two days.I needed a long sprinkler to water my garden. First, this is so thin I had to using loop stakes to hold the hose in place. Even then it would flip over easily and spray down into the dirt rather than up. Second, where the hose connected to the faucet came loose and I had to use waterproof tape to hold it together. Still the pressure is low and I water for hours to get the area moist.
