I bought this to sit on top of a new and very large footstool that will be subject to all manner of pet hair and human feet wear and tear. For $15, when it gets too beat up, I can easily replace it less expensively than the $400 footstool it sits on.Now, this is not a finely crafted oriental rug, but the colors are pretty well defined, the design is pleasing and, regardless of size, I think, for the price, this machine made area rug will provide a few years of acceptable use. I’d say it’s “the look” without the big investment. The pile is about 1/2” thick. The edge binding is sewn and equal in quality to most budget priced area rugs. The backing quite stiff and is NOT non-skid; for floor use, you will need a non-skid pad.For those wondering about colors, in my opinion, the red is a dark red, not wine or burgundy. What appears to be white is a cream color. Larger sizes may have more of this color in the pattern. There is also gold and black.Shipping was fast as promised. This small rug was wrapped well in white poly and packing tape and arrived without damage to the packaging.

It was thicker than I thought.
