My daughter loves different hair styles and loves the afro braiding but it's painful for her. Hence, this worked for her. She could do it quickly and loved it. Different colour to match her clothes was too good.

The girls (10 and 14) had fun doing eachother a hair.

not the easiest to stay in place but I've figured out a away but it involves attaching the top of the accessory at the scalp with a small colourful band or with a separate different hair accessory clip.My daughter loved them and wanted to keep them so I got creative with the attachment but i don't think she realises that it was not as easy as I made it look.

Just put a little elastic hair band at the top to hold in place and these stay in all day. Looked really cute on my daughter.

It looked pretty on photos, but I actually find it really useless. It reminds me of the spring keychains we had in the 90's. You can't use it without actually tying the hair with a hairband first, so that you can then tuck the tup of the "swirl" into the hairband and then it works. It's quite heavy too, so my 6 yo could not wear all of them. She would wear one or two max at the time. It came in 3 identical packs, so we have the other two to two friends so they can all have the swirls in their hair. I guess its a good party bag filler, as each of them is packed individually (lots of plastic), but you would need to give instructions along of how to use them. If they were lighter and more springy, this could actually work.

Just couldn’t work out how to wrap hair round the plastic twirl . My daughters couldn’t work it out either so disappointed.

Sticks are very hard and feel like theyd snap if bent I thought they would be more rubbery and easy to twist hair around. One reviewer said yhey just slide right down off straight hair. They do ! They were right! No box no instructions must be years old to gave gone hard like these . Why dont I read reviews first? I'm glad they werent delivered to my grand daughter direct from Amazon, she would not have known what they were for. Just in cellophane bags they came.
