Husband good gut bacteria are very low I am hoping they will work wonders for his health.

A good CFU count!
I struggled to find a good quality S. Boulardii probiotic at a reasonable price point which contained 10 billion CFU (most contain 5 billion). These are invaluable and extremely useful for me to take during and after a course of antibiotics and I suffer no adverse effects. The tablets are quite large which can be a problem for those who struggle with tablets. If this is not an issue for you I would definitely recommend.
