KD dance New York Stretch Knit Ballet Shrug Designed by Dancers for Dancers

This is a fabulous shrug to wear on top of a leotard during colder months. The size XS fits my 6 year old daughter perfectly. She wears a child's size 8, so this stretchy sweater fits a child when it is not stretched. I just have to roll up the sleeves once or twice at the wrists but it fits perfectly across her shoulders and back, and only minimally bunches up when she puts her arms behind her back. She wore this all last winter to dance class, and it kept her warm but didn't flop around like some dance sweaters for kids sometimes do. This is a great find! We will be buying more colors this year!

I just got this in today and it fits perfectly. I am 5'8", have thin arms, and I measured the distance from shoulder to shoulder and it was about 16 inches. The sleeves are the perfect length. I almost got a size medium because of my height but I usually wear a size small to extra small in everything and so I am really glad I ordered this in a small. I love this for my yoga practice and I will order more in other colors! I hope this helps someone with sizing.

We got this in white for my 11yo to wear with a thin strapped Easter dress. The dress had lovely back and collar details that a regular sweater would have hidden. This design kept her warm and showed off her dress.She now wears this sweater often with other dresses or to yoga to stay warm. It's basically 2 sleeve tubes with a small rectangular back piece, so kids can fit the ladies sizes without bother.

This is exactly what I was looking for, a shrug that is mostly all arm coverage and not much on the back (as opposed to a bolero, which is easier to find). The sizing is on the small side, but they disclose all of that in the product info, so read and order appropriately. It is an extremely simple design, and would be very easy to knit for myself, but I did not have the time to deal with it, so I bought this. In that regard, I would say it is priced a bit on the high side, but I paid for convenience.

I love this weird arm and shoulder sweater. I actually purchased it simply because I often get extremely cold across the backs of my arms and upper back when I sleep. However, I really liked the fit of it (snug but stretchy,) so I wore it to class and now I love it even more. It's perfect as a modular warm up and adds warmth but allows your underarms to breathe.

I bought the smallest size for my pre-pro 11 yr old ballet dancer. It fits her nicely, but is so well made I expect it to last her until it wears out rather than her size ever increasing enough to retire it.

The arms fit snug like they are supposed to, but the back is baggy and way too big. But that's my own fault because I did not call the seller to ask any questions and they highly recommend calling them. So, I'd recommend calling them unless you just want to take your chances.

Perfect, besides dance, you instantly have the choice of the look of long sleeve under a t-shirt. Without the body heat. Unless you want it then the arms serve that purpose too. No bulk around the neck. Prompt for 3rd party delivery. Excellent all around.Ive now bought three more i love them so much!! Love the charcoal !!
