Lucid Grip Spray on Grip Tape for Skateboards and Longboards

This is just what I needed for my custom longboard. I’ve used clear grip tape in the past but wanted to try something new on this build. Super easy to apply and I’ve had no issue with the grip coming off. It looks flawless and feels great when riding barefoot too. This is the only grip I will use from now on.

I made my son a board for his birthday and didn’t want to cover up the wood. I had bought the clear tape, but it was still really cloudy. This grip spray worked so much better. It is super easy to apply. Spray, shake grip, spray, and let dry. I used the medium grit, and I am pretty sure it took a layer of skin off my hands when I finished the board up. Customer service was great. I had a question and they responded within 24 hours. I will use their products in the future!

Even though it’s not easy to get perfectly the first time, it’s an amazing product. And I’m being a little hard on it, it still wows folks it possible

Discovered that I can use something like this to put on my pickleball paddles to have a rougher face surface when hitting the ball back. Ordered the product, taped off parts of my paddle, sanded the face to give it a good surface to adhere to and used the foam brush to spread the adhesive on first. Applied the grit and then sprayed the adhesive on as a final coat. works wonders for adding spin to a pickle ball. even though I got the medium grit, going with the lightest grit would work just fine and probably even better for more control. Will also work great for giving grit on smooth concrete steps for when it rains which is the next project. Amazing stuff!

This product works as intended, is crystal clear. Very easy to apply with minimal cleanup. Drying times were accurate. I think I was a little heavy handed with the spray but it still came out totally fine. I had some slight discoloration on the paint by the tail, but this board is over 30 years old and that area was in bad shape to begin with. It feels like I'm left with another 2 coats worth of product as well.

I ride my longboard daily to and from work and therefor it was COMPLETELY BALD where I put my front foot. I wanted a solution for it that wouldn’t compromise the look of my board or hide the bamboo finish. Originally I just applied it to the spot where’s it was needed but it was honestly better than the grip my board came with so I did the entire board. It catches the light BEAUTIFULLY!!!!! I feels like a brand new board. Honestly the most hyped I’ve been about any product in a while. ( so easy to use as long as you take a couple seconds to do it right. Any bad reviews are user error or a faulty product. There is no way you can’t like it)

Super fast and easy application. Medium feels perfect with bare feet. This is my first time using it, so I'm looking forward to seeing if it lasts. My board came with a clear grip in 2014 and I finally got tired of having bald spots on my board. This stuff makes the board look brand new!

THIS STUFF IS AMAZING ! Gives the board a definitive finished professional look. Started building and customizing boards and some needed something other than the traditional grip tape that covered the beauty of the wood and the artwork. It is legit ! I’ll be using this stuff on all my boards from this day forward.

I think you need to apply a lot of coats on top of the grip. Otherwise, the grip comes off of a bit
