I bought this to treat a small patch of psoriasis that was starting to form bc my regular treatments were out of stock. After applying to the small area, I used it on my hands to get rid of the excess. I've battled hand excema since I was a teenager, so for over 20 years. It would come and go but most of the time I would have places where my fingers were cracked, peeling, and bleeding no matter what I did. I noticed an improvement after just using the excess of this lotion on my hands so I started intentionally applying this to my hands 2x per day (morning after a shower and evening before bed) plus after any prolonged contact with irritants - ie, scrubbing a bathroom. It's not greasy and my hands are actually clearing up for the first time in 20 years. It's actually been life changing. The smell is fine for me although the coal tar smell does come through the more pleasant ingredients - definitely worth it for the trade offs.

Okay, So since day one of my birth, I’m now 25 almost 26 years old, I’ve dealt with plaque psoriasis. The more stressed out I am, the worse it gets. When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, the fluctuation of hormones actually did my skin so good it cleared up and didn’t come back until a month before her birth and it came back pretty severely. Since I’ve been dealing with it my whole life, I’ve done given up on trying to keep it under control. I’ve gone from topical steroids to injected steroids and it didn’t work. I tried essential oils and that only brought it down to a mild flair but never made it go away completely. I’ve gotten so used to the big white flaky thick patches on my elbows and arms that I doesn’t bother me, but when I’m at work and someone points it out, that’s when I get self conscious even though I know I can’t really do anything about it, but cover with long sleeves/sweaters. I got tired of hiding and working in heat and sweating my buttoff profusely that I jumped on google and was like okay, last time I try something and if it doesn’t work I really will give up. I spent an entire week looking at reviews of lotions, potions and even gone as far as cosmetic removal. My boss also deals with psoriasis, but hers only flairs up in the winter on her hands. She told me to look up revitaderm and see what I thought about it. So I jumped on google, got turned to Amazon and read literally everything single review and looked at all the pics posted. I thought, well what could it hurt. I’ve come this far with nothing making a difference, if this doesn’t work, then pfft it’s ten bucks I can easily make back. I ordered some. Opened the package and took a whiff… and was actually surprised that it isn’t as strong as I thought it would be. Sure, you can definitely tell it has a smell, but it really isn’t as bad as some people say it can be. It’s mild to me. So I slapped some on and went about my day. For a couple days I routinely COATED my patches with the medicated cream, but, well as we all know, life gets in the way, and I only did it once every other day. Then, BAM!, I looked in the mirror one day and I kid you not, had I been a cartoon, my eyes would have bugged completely out of my head. My plaques were noticeably smaller and smoother! I couldn’t believe my eyes. There was no way I had ever thought this would work so well. So, I made the effort to not let life get in the way and went back to using it three times a day, and within 2 weeks, my arms had cleared up with no discolored skin scars or pink rings. I was mesmerized. I hadn’t felt so good about my skin in a long time. I did a little experiment and didn’t use it for a week and my patches did not come back or spread to other places. Even though my patches may have gone away, I still use it once a day, before bed, just in case. I cannot tell you how much I am impressed with this concoction of slatherable magic. It gives me goosebumps to even think about it. And for 10 bucks? Are you kidding me? Literally a damn steal! I’m not one to write reviews much unless I absolutely love something that can change my life, and let me tell y’all something… it definitely left an imprint on me and was worth looking into. If you’re like me and have nothing left to believe in, just give this a try. You WONT be disappointed!

I have dealt with Rosacea/ Psoriasis on my face most of my life. So embarrassing to get out in public when you have a flare up of red dry flaking skin. I have tried almost everything and was fixing to schedule a visit to dermatology until I ran across this at a local walmart store. I put it on my face the next day and WOW, it cleared my dry flaking skin and redness up right away. I am on week 3 and already have people saying I look like I have new skin. I work in the medical field and have been telling my patients with the same problem as I have about this stuff. Smell is not so great but it works perfect.

I was very skeptical using this cream for my psoriasis on my arms. I have a few spots on my legs as well. My friends husband uses this cream and it’s the only thing that helps his psoriasis. After two weeks of using the cream twice a day my psoriasis on my arms started clearing up. It was like an answered prayer! I have used Cortizone cream and it did not help. I have one new psoriasis that came back on my arm but now I can actually wear short sleeves again. It truly is amazing! I wish I would’ve taken a before and after pictures. Even my husband was impressed! Please give this product a try if you have psoriasis. The smell is kind of strong at first but then it dissipates. It’s worth it!

Starts treating patches as quickly as 2 days

I think I would have liked this product if I had one small patch I was dealing with but I have atopic dermatitis eczema so I get little bumps all over my trunk area from my thighs to my neck and on my head even if I go sparingly it was still a lot of cream and I tried to ignore the smell because I wanted it to work so well and I’m sure if I had like just one big patch to deal it would be better but my head hurts so bad from the smell I don’t get migraines but I got a bad one also the fingers that I was using to rub the cream in started to get like frostbite frozen I couldn’t feel them my whole body started to shake all over it was like I was shivering all night now it could be something in the coal tar and the way it’s made my body reacted negatively that’s the thing about these products it’s 90% great but you may be in at 2% and that’s kind of a bummer but it happens I got up and I put a hoodie on to cover up the smell on my back in front and that helped but my head hurts from the smell before I did that my body hurts because of the shivering and shaking my muscles ache my head hurts so I think I’m gonna try some Minooka honey or just keep using the eucerin i’m on my way back to the allergist next week because a biopsy showed that it was eczema and mine looks atopic. It’s nothing in my environment as far as soaps that I know of because I’ve changed them all it has to be maybe something new I’ve become allergic to like dairy or my clothing or something weird I don’t know my point is if you had a certain patch maybe on your leg or in your elbow or somewhere that you have but mine are a little pimple looking things all over my hips back arms neck and I have to rub so much of it all over and the smell was just too much I really wanted it to work for my situation but it didn’t so it’s something to keep in mind depending on the type of Eczema that you have
