Foam Speaker Surround Repair Kit for Paradigm PDR-10 Subwoofer

The kit came with everything needed with one exception.Some clothes pins are a good idea to have before you start to help clamp the new surround to the basket.Other wise, job went flawlessly and my 20 year old sub sounds good as new.

The glue is terrible. I am near convinced that it is re-packaged elmer's. You will need to get a different glue (ie: E6000)The surround is bordering on adequate. The material quality is good, but it is about 1-2mm larger inner diameter than the original. There is no downward angle on the portion that attaches to the cone. Will it work? Likely. Am I 100% convinced that the lessor surface area for adhesion will not cause issues over time? No. Basically the price is OK for a generic fit surround that comes WITH a decent adhesive, a dust cover, and shims. For a truly factory fit I would look elsewhere, or buy a different general fit kit that is likely cheaper/more inclusive.P.S. The voice coil on the PDR-10 sub is TIGHT. There is no possible way you could do this by feel, and even by tone you are gambling w/o significant experience in doing so. You will NEED to remove the dust cover and shim this sub. Dust cover can be carefully removed/reused via heat gun/hair dryer and a little patience.

The hardest part was removing the old collar and adhesive. Otherwise, it's a rather simple operation. This was my first time doing it and I didn't encounter any problems.
