All hail the Bible of Screenwriting!
This book covers almost everything you could ask for, and for me the biggest plus point was that it wasn't as rigid as Save The Cat. The three act structure is defined very clearly, other concepts relating to character development are also really well written. The writing here is logical and up-to-date, and breaks the concepts down to really tiny bits for everyone and anyone to consume ;)Overall, this is a great book for a beginner who is thinking of getting into screenwriting.

Foundation of Screenplay.
There are lots of screenwriting books out there but this is the book from where you can start your screenwriting journey. I read it probably ten years back but again I have bought it and recently read again. If you are a novice writer you should start from this book and even If you are seasoned one you can back to this one again and again.

Every novelist should consider reading this book
I just finished reading Screenplay and it was eye opening. Most of the book is about crafting stories. Creative techniques recommended for screenwriters. But I find most of those techniques can be applied to crafting novels.A few months ago, I finished a first draft of a novel that was much too short. The second act was sparse, and I hadn't adequately shown why a very unlikely pair fell in love. I clearly didn't fully understand the story I was trying to tell. What I learned from Screenplay in one reading has already given me a growth spurt as a writer. I have a vision and thematic understanding I didn't have before, thanks to this book.Field is a teacher of screenwriting, and his teaching chops show in this book. It is an easy and comfortable read. The writing style is conversational and encouraging and the book is well organized to introduce you to creating stories for the screen in a logical progression, promoting well-accepted methods. So, not only is Screenplay a valuable book for screenwriters, it is a worthwhile read for other storytellers, including novelists.

Si quieres aprender de cine
Me gusta mucho el libro. Es que parece que estás con el escritor y él te cuenta sobre su trabajo. Me lo absorbo como una esponja. Me gusta esas cosas. El libro me recomendó el director de cine, Steven de Jong.

I finished it and started again.
Yeah, it's a must-have for anyone contemplating screenwriting (or any other kind of writing). On the first read-through, I filled a notebook with ideas generated by the nuggets of information and suggestions, and it's all stuff we've seen but never realised. And... it's all stuff you need to know to make your writing work.To call it clever is to understate it.Brilliant.
