A Great Bargain
I am involved with supplying baked goods for many bake sales during the year and I have found these small containers perfect for my elderly friends who like to have pie, but who aren't able to consume a regular size pie by themselves. Perfect for the Older Generation!

Great for garden to ward off birds
I don’t bake, but I use these to ward off birds that would otherwise eat my home-grown tomatoes. Very effective.

Works great!
I read some reviews complaining about the lack of sturdiness in these and I'm not sure what those reviewers were expecting. These are every bit as sturdy as the disposible tins you buy in the grocery store and MUCH more sturdy than tin foil. They work great and have a multitude of uses. Highly recommended and will buy again. I did notice that all the negative reviews are from 2-4 years ago, so the manufacturer may have upgraded the product.

Bend under light pressure but good for serving
I’ve used these for cinnamon rolls and they do the job. Not super sturdy, as they bend with light pressure, but since I’m only looking for something in which to serve them to a crowd, they work nicely. If you were trying to pat down a crumb crust, these would probably give you a headache. They’re disposable, so I didn’t want anything that’s much thicker.

Better than slicing a whole pie
I haven’t made a full-sized pie since I bought these. These are more like mini deep dish pie tins. They are not sturdy like the pie plates that typically come with frozen store-bought pies. That said, the quality is acceptable and the price is more than fair. I make four pies from a standard pie recipe. Once cooled, I wrap them individually in plastic wrap then put them in gallon bags and freeze them. Much easier than cutting slices of a whole pie (which is also very messy). Highly recommended.

Good deep 5 inch pie tin. Much better size than some competitors.
I am using these for Shepard's pie. They work great as they hold about a full meal for an adult which can be frozen ...they are thin on the base . I have yet to cook pastry in them but when i do i will shield the base a little to prevent uneven cooking. It would be nice if there were 0.5 stars..... so i could give a 4.5
