I really wanted to like this product.I pierced my 4 month old baby's ears at home because of COVID-19 going around. It seemed fool proof. I saw all the youtube vids and tutorials. I got this. So we get her prepped and I mark her ears. I put the piercing gun to her ear, centering on the mark with the pre-loaded and sterile earring stem. I click the gun and the plastic holding the earring breaks away. Its supposed to do that. Then I notice that the earring back did not attach to the earring stem. I have to pop it out using the tip of a knife since its still in the gun, disinfect it and close my daughter's earring, who is obviously in pain. Huge "WTF, are you kidding me?!?!" moment. Some people will read this and say, "that's what you get for piercing such a young baby's ears," but health professionals recommend ages 4-6 months for ear piercing so they don't reach up and pull at it.Anyways, at first I thought maybe I didn't press firmly enough to lock the earring. Well, long story short, same thing happened on the other side despite me pressing firmly.I would say its better to be used on an older child or adult but honestly, no one deserves that.So I don't recommend this product because the piercing mechanism is flawed and causes unnecessary pain because it doesn't connect the earring back with the earring stem, causing the piercer to do it by hand which I'm sure hurts like a queen bee.

When I opened it, I accidentally already pushed it / which releases the earring. So I put it back together and did it on my left ear; it’s tight which is good, and the back to the earring didn’t release so I just used my own. The right ear I jus pushed together , which isn’t as tight as the left. The back did go on though

This product worked great! I pierced my daughters ears with no problems. She said it didn’t hurt at all.Would buy again!

The quality was not great and the breakaway pieces didn’t break away as easily as they were supposed to.

Brought gold earrings gun was great I liked how it came with cleaning wipes. However the backs that came with the gold earrings are silver so if anyone has an allergy to silver like myself it would be a good idea to buy backs separately.
