I am so glad to have found these little gems! My used car had some rough looking armrests and these not only hid the damage but looks better than the original. Super easy to put on, fit perfectly, well made and affordable. The instructions mentioned needing a heat gun, but that's only if you mean to apply them in cold temperatures. I laid them in the sun while I was installing them and so far they are sticking great, even in Texas heat. I am very impressed!

As you can see from other reviews, it appears Hyundai Elantras are notorious for coloring coming off the armrests. I have a 2020 Elantra Value Edition, and as you can see in the before photo, this is what the driver's armrest looks like after 5 years, 50K miles. I'm pretty gentle on my cars, too. I have been looking for something to cover this for the last few months, and just happened to come across this product. I am very happy with the product and the results. It looks great, and covers the defects. Install tips: Use a tip of a razor blade from a box cutter to lift edge of the protective film covering the adhesive on the back side. Use a blow dryer to warm up the adhesive after removing the protective film (don't over due it) to ensure the adhesive is tacky. Tilt the edge of the cover downward toward the door so the edge abuts the door, but the adhesive doesn't make contact with armrest. This allows you to position it and line it up. Once you have it lined up, lay it down gently, so you still have a little wiggle room to get it lined up perfectly. Once lined up, press down all over the cover to ensure the adhesive sticks to armrest. If you want to be extra cautious to ensure adhesive sticks, wipe down armrest with rubbing alcohol prior to install ensuring all dust, body oils, etc is removed from armrests. I also turned on the heat in my car to max, to ensure adhesive would remain tacky while adhering to the plastic armrest.
