Massive features in a very tiny package!!
I have been using off the shelf routers with my BSNL ADSL service for many years now, The regular Linksys, d-link, tp-link type devices cannot handle more than 3-4 wifi clients simultaneously, I have had severe buffering issues playing HD videos between devices just a few feet away from each other, I suspected it had something to do with the memory/cpu on these devices and I was right about it.I still use my old TP-Link device to connect to BSNL but I now bridge the pppoe connection to this Edgerouter and all my streaming issues have magically disappeared, This device also powers my Unifi AP with POE and saves me on some of the cabling mess. This is a great router for a small home or office network with more than 2-3 devices.

Fabulous low priced enterprise grade router
Superb router. Incredibly stable and does load balancing between isps like a champ. I have 2x 150mbps fiber connections and I routinely see both of them maxed out when downloading. The device is very stable, has a nice gui for most regular functionality and command line access via SSH when you need to do more advanced configuration. EdgeOS is a fork off the open source vytilla(vyos) router software and is incredibly configurable. So far I have only scratched the surface of the incredible feature set this device has but everything I have used is really solid.

Great Product - absolutely delighted
Great product. Initially had reservations, but bought this because of good reviews.Realized after using a few months now, that this is truly a great product. But it takes time, if you are not a networking guy, to understand all the features for effective configuration.

Better than consumer grade routers
Better performance and much superior to consumer grade routers. Will never go back to Linksys and Netgear crap after this

Advanced router but shipping took around a month
Ubiquiti products are known for their sturdiness and advanced capabilities. I'd also brought Ubiquiti Gateway which can ben powered by PoE port and Ubiquiti SFP [10 Gigatek] to make sure that I'm leveraging the most of functionality provided by this advanced router. Initially, I'd a lot of challenges in setting-up this router. It took me 3 weeks to configure and setup load-balancing and failover capabilities. Please note that this is not a normal router so, don't expect that you would connect the wire and it would start providing the load-balancing and failover capabilities. Also, this router does not have WiFi. This product is useful for the users -1. Who need failover enabled router which can seamlessly switch the connection from one internet provider to another provider.2. Those who have n-number of wireless clients and streaming data is really an issue for them.3. Those who would like to have SFP port to connect to connect to additional switches/wifi router.4. Those would love to experiment with PoE ports.Pros------------1. It has PoE port which is capable enough to power other Ubiquiti devices but power is somehow not consistent.2. With latest firmware it has option to pair the connection for load-balancing. More options are available than I have thought this device would provide.3. It seems to me electrostatic-sensitive device [ESD] and you can buy additional ESD Grounding Cord to have surge protection from lightning.Cons------------1. DNS and DHCP is really an issue with latest firmware. If you're behind a WiFi router and trying to connect its console, it would be a real mess. If there are two LAN ports and three WAN ports then you need to manually plug the wire to understand which port is listening on 192.168.1.1. It's not always in sequential order.2. Delivery took more than a month's time. Buyer wasn't reachable. I'd to report the delivery problem to Amazon to make sure that they deliver this product.3. It's SOHO based router and I am not a big fan of those.I'll post configuration video to YouTube to show how I've configure this. I'll keep updating comment to add more...

Nice Unit and Quite Powerful
I bought this the other day for two primary reasons, I needed to have several simultaneous connections to the Internet and I wanted POE for older Ubiquiti gear. I was running a USG3P but replaced it with this. It's working perfectly. This device enabled me to get rid of 3 POE blocks for the WAN radios and 3 ethernet cables right off the bat. WAN balancing between the 3 wireless WAN connections is working perfectly. Setup was pretty easy. Price was/is excellent. What makes this router very neat is that it's both a router AND a switch. I can also add another two WAN connections for a total of 5. It's tiny and passively cooled (no fan). What can I say? I'm pleased. Very pleased. It cleaned up all cabling clutter and freed up three electrical outlets for the POE blocks it replaced. It's certainly a bit dated but I'm very pleased. Lots of information out there on it, lots of videos to show you what to do if you don't know but I set it up with no issues.Highly recommended.

Migrando nuestra infraestructura a productos Ubiquiti.

Solid router (with tons of potential) at a great price
I bought this as the first piece of my all Ubiquiti network setup. I wanted to replace my ASUS all in one AC router because of constant restarts and inconsistent wifi performance. It was a good router, but it can't compare to my new system of dedicated router (this), switch, and access point. In the three months I've had my system, there has not been a single issue with internet speeds or connection, or with wifi performance. It is rock solid now and there haven't been any complaints from the family about the internet being down. This router just routes. It isn't encumbered by the need to be the AP as well. I do use the switch function on this however, and it is very configurable, pretty close to a managed switch. It is also capable of passive POE power, which I am not using currently. The SFP port can be configured as the WAN port if you need another port. This is all in a small, well built metal case. The one downside is that it's not the easiest to configure in this current age of consumer routers, but it's still not hard with the wizards and all of the information and support available online. If you are skilled or determined, there is so much configuration this router is capable of. If you get by the initial setup hurdle, the separated router and AP combo is a gamechanger for people like me. The wifi is no longer tied to wherever the router has to be. It can go in the most central or needed location in the house, and you can have more AP's if needed. This is the first step toward non-sucky internet.

Came with the wrong type of power plug
The product came with a EU plug instead of the UK plug for Singapore...

Nice little router
I bought this after realizing my Arris surfboard was only a cable modem without routing. It's quite capable for the price, I followed others recommendations for max throughput by enabling hardware offloading. It can handle QoS and Firewall, but that will effect performance, if you need those features and have more then 200Mbps connection, this probably isn't the best choice, but if you don't this is good up to a gig.
