I was searching high and low for the perfect winter coat/jacket. I have broad shoulders and long arms so buying a jacket that fits in the shoulders and chest with sleeves that are long enough has always been a challenge. There are 4 points that make a jacket/coat perfect for me. This jacket passes all of them.What I love about this jacket:1) Length - I am 5'10" and wanted a jacket that covers my backside. This garment is just above mid thigh on me. Perfect!2) Shoulders/arms - I have broad shoulders and long arms. I would normally wear an XL but after reading reviews and the size chart I went with the 3X. Thought I would be swimming in this but would rather have it too large than too tight. As it turns out it is roomy without swallowing me up. Generally I have issues with outer wear being too snug in the shoulders (even an XL) with sleeves that ride midway up my forearm if I bend my elbows. This 3X size is roomy but not huge. There is no tightness in the shoulders and honestly the sleeves are maybe just a bit too long! And that is in no way a complaint! Never have I ever had a coat/jacket with sleeves that are too long! The end of the sleeves have a nice ribbed knit cuff that a) keeps the cold out and b) keeps the sleeves above my wrist. There is a drawstring at the waist so I can pull that in to give the jacket some shape and fit.3) Perfect pockets! I don't like carrying a purse. All I need is my wallet and my phone. The problem with many pockets is that they are on the side seams, have no depth, and often times have zipper openings/closure (I dislike zippered pockets - the zippers can get cold and also hard on cold skin on your hands), and don't do anything to keep your hands warm. THIS jacket has perfect pockets on the front of the garment. They are deep and roomy to securely carry my wallet and phone plus a pair of gloves in and still give me room to stuff my hands into for a quick warm up. Most importantly, I don't need to worry about my wallet/phone/keys slipping out of the pockets and getting lost.4) Sleeve lining. While the jacket body and hood are lined with a sherpa type material, the sleeves are lined with a "slippery" nylon fabric. Love this because I wear sweaters, sweatshirts, fleece in winter and my arms easily slide in and out of the jacket.I chose the blue color which to me looks more like a medium denim color. The color was exactly as depicted on the listing. The fabric seems to be a micro-fiber type and is water/snow repellent to an adequate point. Pet hair, my hair and lint-y stuff doesn't stick to it. The lining is a sherpa type of material so this jacket is nice and warm. The jacket zips up easily and there is a placket that covers and buttons over the zipper. The hood is also sherpa lined and very roomy. I don't generally use a hood (it's a fine flat hair issue) but this hood is big and roomy enough to pull up and protect my easily ruined hair style from wind/rain/snow without squashing my hair and ruining it for the rest of the day. The quality so far is quite good. I don't feel that it will rip/tear with normal wear. There are no loose threads or seams, the sherpa lining does not shed onto my clothes. No stains or marks on the inside or outside fabrics. No strange odor. I guess the only complaint I can list - and it's a very minor one at that - is that it was somewhat wrinkled upon delivery. That being said, it was somewhat expected because it came packaged in a large heavy plastic zip lock type bag. Just keep in mind that if you do purchase a garment this way, it will come folded up and not like a garment you would by from a store that has been on a hanger. I did use a wrinkle release spray on it. The spray helped a little, but with time and hanging on a hanger the wrinkles have for the most part disappeared and aren't an issue. I would also like to add that the fabric of this jacket took the wrinkle release spray well without no staining or water spots whatsoever.... SO YEAH... I'm really happy and 100% satisfied with this jacket purchase!

Very comfy!!! I normally wear a small, sometimes extra small depending on the allowance of boobage… I’m very large busted and this fits beautifully (I did buy a large)!I like my outerwear to be able to accommodate whatever I’m going to wear under it without feeling confined or having to readjust. This (be a I bought a large) I could wear a sweater under it (if I wore sweaters) and not have any issues… I’m extra excited because I could wear a sweatshirt. I live in sweatshirts, but don’t believe that it doesn’t get cold in Las Vegas, because we do have 30 and 40 degree mornings and days in the 40’s… too dang cold for me and sweatshirts (I do layer them) are just not enough sometimes. I love the Sherpa on the insides, but they should have extended it through the sleeves, but no biggie there, just a preference.I’m 4’11” about 110-115 lbs. the arms are fine and my hands come out as should and I don’t look like I’m wearing my husbands coat. It comes down to just above my knees, its comfortable leaving it full or cinching at the waist with the tie.The outside is a microfiber of which I’m not a fan… I guess mostly because it will stain easy, so watch those fingers if ya been eating some fries!The hood is PERFECT! It’s large enough for me to comfortably wear a larger skull cap and still has plenty of room to dip down past my eyes if I choose.Initially I wanted to buy a Levi’s jacket/parka that looks almost identical, but the price was $30 more for the size I wanted and I wouldn’t get it till January!!! (Just look up Levi’s women’s parka and you’ll see). I’m so glad that I bought this!!! Got it in a reasonable amount of time… which quite honestly I’m surprised! Amazon has been off it’s game so bad and for so long… I’m not sure I’m gonna shop on here anymore.Anyway, this is about the coat and not Amazons questionable service.I love the coat!!! It’s cozy, comfy, unimposing, well made, forms to the body and not invasive like a giant bulky snow monster coat!I think this will suit my needs perfectly and I’m very pleased with this purchase! $54 is a more than reasonable price for a winter coat and no buyers remorse here!It even has a zipper to go along with the buttons!!!Love, love, love it!!! I highly recommend to give it a try! What do you have to lose? If it’s not right, send it back!I do recommend going up a size if u like extra room to wear a sweatshirt or thicker piece of clothing. If you prefer a more snug fitted coat I wouldn’t say this is so much for you, but doesn’t hurt to try it. This coat will make u look heavier if you’re worried about that. I’m very small, but don’t care anyway… the beautiful thing about growing older (I’m 54) is that you stop caring so much about what others think… and that my friends is a beautiful thing, and so is this coat!Hope my review helps someone or many.Have a beautiful day!

First let me say that I love this jacket. I'm 5'7", 210, and a 2XL fits fine. I have narrow shoulders and my arms are on the shorter side, so I frequently have trouble with clothing being too big on top in order to fit comfortably in the hips. Just something I have to deal with unless I lose weight :(. The sleeves on this come down past my fingertips and will need to be rolled back, so if you have longer arms and wider shoulders this will fit you perfectly! The quilted lining of the sleeves is the same color as the other lining, so it kind of looks like the cuffs are supposed to be that way. I've been looking for a jacket like this for 2 years - not heavy, easy to slide on and off, nice big pockets, roomy enough to wear over a sweater, lovely hood, and an easy close option since I never zip my coat but like having the option of a few snaps or buttons if I just want a little more protection from the cold wind here in Michigan. I'd have given it 5 stars but it does seem like the chest, shoulder area, and the sleeves are about a size larger than the rest of the jacket. I initially received a 3XL in error and re-ordered the 2XL, the 3XL fit the same way. If it had fit perfectly I would have ordered it in blue also, it's a great price for a very nice jacket.

Pretty coat. Runs a little bit big. The hood is big. Loved the color just not the outer fabric. Didn't feel very thick but the interior was faux sheepskin and the sleeves lining were quilted.

I didn't like having to zip and button. It was nice material and seemed to be warm. Tight in the hips for me.
