10/10
Great work shoes. They’re a bit stiff so you need to break them in. Memory foam is on the heel only and the rest of the shoe is solid, which I thought would be uncomfortable at first but it works well because it adds a layer of support. Slip resistant and water proof but not at all breathable which is to be expected.Unrelated, but I think they are helping with an issue I have where the joints in the ball of my foot keep cracking and it’s painful to walk sometimes. But since I started wearing these shoes at work my feet feel supported to where the joint isn’t cracking every time I apply pressure.

Very roomy and comfortable shoes that are priced right!
I like that these have extra room in the toes and my feet are not cramped. Also, the material that they are made with is flexible and doesn’t rub hard against my feet. They are somewhat chunky and offer extra support to posture with their block heals. Overall I’m satisfied and the quality is there. First day wearing them they got a little slippery but nothing too major. It was in a bad spot in the kitchen where everyone tends to slip. I think with a little breaking in and wear this will be less noticeable. I really think they were priced right, as I got them for less than forty. I would definitely buy them again if when these wear out. I did buy some upgraded Orthotics Insoles because the memory foam insoles that come with do wear down quickly. That’s been my experience anyway. With the upgrades I would put this shoe up against the higher dollar work shoes that cost over a bill. Keep your money in your wallet and give these a try. Your feet, legs, back and wallet will thank you for it.

Worst Sketchers I've ever owned, and I've been buying the brand faithfully since 1995
Absolutely terrible shoe. I've purchased this particular model once before, and I wore it without problems. However, this go around the shoes didn't appear to be genuine leather despite the product claiming to have a leather top. They had a shiny synthetic look and felt plasticky completely unlike the normal feel of a pair of leather Sketchers. The statement that it had memory foam was a lie. The normal cushion of memory foam definitely didn't exist in this pair of shoes. The sole of the shoe was very hard and unyielding with barely any arch support.I bought the wide version, and the shoe pinched painfully in multiple places. I've never had a wide pair of Sketchers cause unrelenting pain from pressure across the top of my foot and against my toes before this pair.Wearing these shoes was absolute agony even after I added in-soles to give arch support and cushioning . I gave up trying to break them in after two and a half days and switched to a backup pair I had in reserve at work. Putting on my backup pair of shoes was instant relief and made it completely clear to me just how terrible these Sketchers were.I'm a healthcare who has literally been buying Sketchers since 1995 for long days of running around the hospital. I've never had a problem with Sketchers until now. I don't know if they've altered their manufacturer or changed this product line to cut costs. However, if this is now the new norm for Sketchers, I'm going to have to find another brand to be my reliable go to for work because this shoe is closer to being a Medieval torture device than serviceable footwear.

Not as stated
Only gave 4 stars due to it not being slip resistant. Disappointed because it’s very well made. Purchase if you are looking for something comfortable and stylish- but do not purchase if you need it to be slip resistant. Now I’m on the hunt for slip resistant work shoes.

Great for service industry
Im a full time bartender and these are the only shoes I wear to work. I end up having to replace them about every 9 months, but it’s very worth it. They are comfortable, my feet don’t hurt much after 10-12 hours shifts, and they wipe clean easily.

Not Perfect
I ordered a wide size. But the shoe does not appear to be or fit like other shoes I have of the same size and brand. They fit narrow. And the shoestrings are too short for the shoe. They look great. But don't fit well. The shoestring shortage is an issue.

📬Mail Carrier Assistant Approved 💌
I recently got hired to work for the USPS as a City Carrier Assistant (CCA), but searching for the right shoes for the job was going to be quite challenging since everyone has different opinions about what they believe to be the most comfortable shoes. I researched a lot of options and narrowed it down to price range, and comfort for my size 6 feet 🦶🏼. I am 5’2 and Weigh about 130lbs. My jobs requires miles of walking about an average of 9-12 hours on my feet. I have to say that I have out walked the seasoned mail carriers because of these shoes. You have to break these in in order for them to conform to your feet. It took me about 3-4 times wearing them to break them in. They are so comfortable that I forget that I am wearing them. They are affordable and are NOT Postal Approved shoes. (This was a conscience decision by me) however they meet the uniform requirements,(all black leather). I really love these shoes. They are not the prettiest to look at, but it’s not a fashion shoes. They are great work shoes!!
