My chef friend told me, if I buy one knife for my kitchen, it should be a Sentoku style. He also recommended this brand.I am pleased to say he was right on both counts as this knife really does it all and remains comfortable to use and durable at the same time.Use a wet stone to keep its edge, it will only need this periodically and you will have a knife solution for many years.

I love these for chopping veg and slicing tomatoes.

Bought this as a present. I purchased the same item about 3 years ago and with regular sharpening on a ceramic stone it continues to work well. If washed and dried immediately after use it keeps an edge for longer. Have never put it in a dishwasher which spoils the edge.

This knife is the best for the price. Lovely balance Razer sharp and right length I don't youse any thing else now .got mine at asda for 12 pound with 30 year guarantee . Can' fault it it dose everything I want.
