Easy to install!
My husband now has a large 5th wheel to haul around and removing his tailgate each time was becoming a pain. This is exactly what we needed! It was so easy to install and works like a charm! It honestly looks good too. He was concerned about it looking cheap but we are very happy with it!

Perfect for 5th wheels
This was the same exact one from camping world but much cheaper. They charged 699.00The install was a little tricky for us but we figured it out in about 30 minutes. It looks great on our truck. What a great value!!!

Easy to install and looks great!
I bought this due to owning and towing a fifth wheel frequently. I’m still adjusting to having it on the back of the truck vs a full tailgate (which I kept). It’s a lot lighter and not quite as sturdy BUT: it’s definitely easier to hook up the trailer and I don’t have to hassle with the tailgate when hooking and unhooking the trailer (which is a HUGE relief to be honest - how often to you forget about the tailgate? It’s a thing).Only 4 stars for materials - in my mind I wonder if getting a full aluminum gate would have been better?

Poor fit does not stay latched.
It was to wide to fit over the stock tailgate holders. If I have it in the latched position on one side stays closed. I wanted to return it, but was too busy to get it done before time ran out.

Works, but patches are weak
Installed relatively easy. Latches don’t catch tight and not seeing an easy adjustment. And locking knob is cheap. Turns even when locked. It’s not spring loaded either so you need to make sure to manually turn it back to a closed position to get it to latch tailgate. I have to fuss with it to get it to actually catch and hold the latches. I may play with it more to see if I can get a better fitment but doesn’t look promising. Installed on a 2018 Ram 2500 BigHorn SLT.

Love the fact it’s easy to put on and take off, rather than having to use the regular tailgate every time we take off our camper. Saves our backs
