I have purchased 3 of these mattresses, two single and one double. I originally purchased as they were a great price and have a 60 day guarantee if you dont like them. I need not worry about ever returning them as they really are an excellent mattress that gives a sound sleep every night. I didnt find the smell too bad after unpacking and it certainly cant be smelt after you have made the bed. The mattress does come rolled up in a vacuum pack which was great for me as I took them out to our house in Austria. Once they are opened, they take a couple of hours to expand to normal size, so just make sure you do this before you want to lay on them!You wont be disappointed if you buy one of these as they are genuinely excellent British quality and I wouldnt hesitate to buy another when when I need a new mattress.

I've had the mattress for 3 weeks now so I feel I know enough to write a proper review.- Fast delivery, came excellently vacuum packed, and gained its shape within a day (which is a shorter time than some other types of mattress according to reviews).- Does have a strong smell from the memory foam, and this does take a bit longer than I would have hoped to go away. It still hasn't completely gone, but is certainly close.- Very comfortable. Perfect balance of firmness and softness, and has the memory foam feel of moulding around you. I am a fairly light sleeper and I think I am sleeping better since transitioning to this mattress. I also have some back issues, but this has been firm enough that my back feels fine at the moment.- Doesn't have handles and is very heavy. I don't know why they didn't put handles on as this would be a big help.Overall - great for comfort, with a few small issues that meant I couldn't give 5 stars. However, would still recommend.

We brought this mattress because it was a British company and the price was good. The other option was one imported from Australia and id rather buy more locally sourced items. When it arraived it was well wrapped and didnt take long to get to the right size. Although others compained about the smell we didnt find it intrusive. I think we slept on it after a couple of days and had the window open during the day to freshen the room. The mattress is comfortable, we have had it for around 6 months and it is getting more comfortable the more it's slept in. We both like a firm mattress and this is perfect. Our last memory foam mattress made me overheat- thankfully that doesn't happen with this mattress :)I'd definitely buy it again.

Alway hard to decide what mattress to get, I did go round the shops and try out a few but how do you try unless you sleep on them! I picked this mattress because I do have a bad back and the free trial gave me the opportunity to try with out fear of purchasing the wrong type for me.From day one I have no complaints this is a firm but supported mattress, my back has not given me any trouble at all, the foam supports and allows your body to breath, I’m not over hot or cold for that matter I would recommend without hesertation.

Mattress seems well made, apart from an inch or so of the zipped seam that was not stitched. I immediately contacted the manufacturer via their website but 3 days later they haven't yet responded. We left it to air for 14 hours, by which time it appeared to have fully decompressed and the worst of the smell had gone.Only 2 nights slept on it so far, but first impressions are that it feels quite firm, more so even than the awful open coil orthopedic one it's replaced. But the 5cm of foam does seem dense enough at 50kg to give the sensation of being well supported at pressure points, along with that typical slow sinking feeling one gets as the foam heats. And of course this is pocket sprung so you do still get a little bounce too, and the mattress remains supportive right to the edge, unlike some hybrid beds that cost twice the price. It's been pretty cold lately here, but I haven't noticed any obnoxious warmth from the memory foam layer, it's sitting on slats and has pocket springs so that along with the supplied wicking sheet probably helps to dissipate the worst of it.I have been waking up a little sore around the shoulders and with a minor ache in the small of my back. However I'm not one of those fortunate people who can switch from one mattress to another without some initial discomfort. But my partner took to it immediately, says she has not had the slightest issue with aches or pains.

Have had it a week, its very good so far, no backache and very comfy firm supportive but soft. Im giving it 3 stars as its too early to say if it lasts and I will update in a month.Its got to January now, ive had it a month, what no one tells you about memory foam mattresses is that they aren't just affected by the heat of your body they are also are affected by the heat or cold of the room, so now its snowy and cold my bedrooms cold ( who keeps the heating on al night) and the mattress is rock hard, started waking every morning with hip pain, lower back pain. Have used an old microfibre duvet under the mattress protector for the time being but have had to order a thick wool mattress topper to go on the memory foam mattress. Had I known this would happen I would not buy again, I would stick with a pocket sprung. Because of this I am reducing my score to 1 star.
