Great flour
Barley flour is not in stock in any of our grocery stores. Because it is called for in many WFPBNO recipes I ordered this on line.It works perfectly in the recipes I’ve baked so far.I like the fact that it’s organic and sprouted.This flour bakes quickly ( I tried to substitute other available flours with poor results), has a light texture, is easy to handle and has a great taste.I’ll certainly reorder from this company.

Update:Pros:After removing and cleaning the barley it actually tasted great.as its stated on the bag it is Sprouted.it state in the description it's Wild.Also its stated it was grown in the USA.The only Cons:It has a tough, inedible outer hull around the barley kernel.This covering must be removed before the barley cooked.

Bad fermentation taste and smell
It tastes horrible like old fermented molded grains it caused me severe bloating! They don’t even allow return for this trash bag that I was charged for plus making me sick 🤢

barley flour found on amazon
thought it was great to even find this flour....good grief it's expensive. AND the 2 recipes on the bag of sprouted barley flour was for dinner rolls made with 'white wheat flour' and the other recipe was for sprouted 'spelt flour'.............found that kinda odd since I would love to have a few recipes using the sprouted barley flour.

I want to like this. But the amount of bran(?) makes it harder to chew than sawdust.
Did I just get a bad batch? VERY fibrous.Good flavor though. If you want very high fiber with good taste this may fit the bill. And it bakes easier than whole wheat or bran.
