UPDATE - 1) the shoes are still going strong 2) take the inner out and machine wash them every couple of weeks 3) I use these as day shoes for around the house 4) but I realized I prefer having a proper pair of soft slippers for after my nightly shower Firstly the seller's lack of detailing comprehensive show sizes led to me needing to return a pair - I've now bought 43 EU which are 9 UK / 9.5 US as per the shoe's label (there is lots of misleading conversions online). They are solid, they are good quality BUT time will tell. They are comfortable and snug, a good fit for my relatively narrow feet. I live in the middle east so got the Suede Insole option which seems breathable and not stuffy, etc., all-in-all a good option for the hotter climate. One thing I didn't think of was the trade off of having soundless/soft soles for these firmer more durable rubber soles (which will hopefully last a lot longer) these have - so I'm struggling to walk around at night with minimal noise to avoid slightly disturbing my wife or baby (not that I have but I worry I will), they aren't loud but they are louder than a normal pair of slippers. They aren't conventional 'slippers' more like loafers but still comfy and easy to get on and off. I'm happy with these, which I bought to last as long as possible. If they start deteriorating, I'll be back to update. So far, so good.
