So lightweight & classy!
Bought these shoes for my husband for the summer. He has to walk a lot on hot asphalt parking lots. He was thrilled with this shoe. It is incredibly lightweight, which he loved. He has shoe inserts that he is not even going to use bc this shoe supports his arch and is super comfortable! He said they are like walking on air. And the design is so stylish without looking like a tennis shoe. His first time wearing Merrell and won't be his last! One of my favorite brands. This shoe is no longer being offered in this color on Merrell's website so was thrilled to find it on Amazon!

Really all I wear when I need shoes
Summer = sandals/flops, winter/snow=waterproof snow boots. For everything in between these have become my shoes. They still look good after 3 years--bought them in 2018, though I do avoid wearing them in wet weather just because I want to keep them pristine looking (wet spring and fall = breathable, water-resistant hiking shoes). I live overseas and was thinking about changing it up when I come to the US and shop again, but as I was putting them on this evening I was thinking, "Why would I? These look good, they're comfortable in the right places with the right arch support for me (10.5 true to size). Why not be like Steve Jobs and just keep wearing the same thing just because it works?" Have seen some who bought theirs more recently complain about quality issues. Not noticing it on these and have worn them a fair bit over three years. Hopefully Merrell is still putting out a quality product.

Very Comforable
Very comfortable. For me, comfort isnof utmost priority. These are my go-to shoes in many terrains. It affords a bit of water resistance as well.

Good shoe, but not worth MSRP
I purchased this shoe to have something that worked better in cool to cold temperatures than my sneakers, but wasn't a boot. For that purpose, this shoe is fine. It's sneaker style, but nicer than an athletic shoe. It has a relatively wide toe box and the foot bed is comfortable enough for short to medium walks. This suede version doesn't breathe well enough for summertime in my opinion. I haven't worn them long enough to test the durability, but the quality does seem lower than other shoes I've purchased in this price range. If it cost 70% of the list price, I'd probably give it 5 stars. At a little over $100 though, there are higher quality and more comfortable shoes available (including other Merrell shoes).

Big fan of Merrell, another winner
I've just received these and will be happy to give a follow up review later but first review the styling is great, I'll use these for travel and a everyday casual with khaki's shoe, not hiking. I'm between a 14 and a 15 and got a 15, and the fit is very good. I see no problems with the quality, everything looks nicely stitched and glued. For reference, i do not see this as a summer shoe, may retain heat a little too much for that, but a great spring and fall shoe. But i already have a great ventilated Merrell summer shoe! I've owned a lot of different brands in the past but lean towards Merrell now for consistency and quality.

Not durable especially for the price..
I've owned more pairs of Merrells than I can count, however in this case I love the look of the shoes, but the durability leaves much to be desired. I only wear these one or two days a week in normal conditions and the front rubber toe area has already separated and peeled off in most places. Stitching has also come out on a few areas on both shoes. For a $100 pair of shoes I would hope for more, especially since I've owned these for only 9 months.. Also, by no means are these "hiking" shoes, they have no ankle support and due to being low tops if you do go hiking, etc. plan on your shoes filling with dirt and water quickly.
