First time doing dip. I like this system. It's quick. My nails still feel like sand paper after the top coat. Needed to wait longer than 10 seconds like the direction say in between applications. Did exactly what the directions say. A little messy. Had powder everywhere. Salon dip powders are silky and very fine. This stuff is cakey, chalky. Had to take nail file after first layer of TOP coat to make it smooth. Felt like sand paper after dipping and two applications of top coat. Also, waiting 24 hrs to use nail file to smooth nail is much better. Going to buy a regular top coat to use as well. Still dries leaving nails like sand paper even after buffing smooth. See thumb photo. Tiny jars. Wish the base, topcoat, activator and brush cleaner was more fluid ounces. Not enough obviously to last a long time. Worth the money. Can't wait to try another color. I dipped my nails 2 times. Next time I will pour the powder over nails. Was hard trying to dip nails in such tiny jars. Like I said though, I really like this system. This was my first time ever doing this. I used to do gellish/shellac with the light. I like dip way better. Be careful when applying the base coat. A little bit goes a long way. The powder sticks to it wherever it lands. Don't get it on your skin around nail bed. Use acetone to get it off. Love the colors in all the kits. Had a hard time choosing which one. Doesn't feel cheap, but looks cheap. Think this is going to last a long time. It dries hard. Doesn't feel like it's going to come off.

I bought this product two days ago and was trying it out for the first time. I am a beginner btw! The colors and tools provided are great, and overall it's a very simple process. How ever, the containers are tiny! so if you have larger fingers, you will experience spilling when you dip the nail, unless you transport the powder into a wider container. MY main complaint is the 4-step liquid solutions the provide. The base which is the most important, arrived old. It was extremely goopy, and thick and when i pulled the brush applicator out of "The Base: Step 1" it was so stringy and thick that it stretched over a foot long! I googled that this happens with expired, and old bases, and the bases wouldnt even spread onto my nails. It was so thick and just gooey ball. Therefore i tried to use hardener as a base, and the first layer went fine, but you truly need an SNS base between the layers because after 1 hour of drying, the layers and the powder started slide off when I was in the heat (Outside running errands)... great starter kit but the base was ruined

I really wanted to like this set. What sold me at first was the color variety. It covers a variety of seasons and has a good mix of pastel, neutral, glitter, neon, and monochrome. SO I THOUGHT! When I got the first box, it wasn’t sealed (red flag). When I opened the box, you don’t get any of the colors advertised. It was all neon, like a box of Crayola. Don’t get me wrong, that isn’t a bad thing, but again, that’s not what I ordered. I was excited to use the black glitter, but it wasn’t there. I marked which colors were not in the set, and it’s more than half. So I contacted Amazon. They gave me a refund, and I disposed of the box since it wasn’t sealed and I was unsure if the product was safe. It looked used when I opened it, and parts were missing. Thinking it was maybe a fluke, I ordered the same set again. It can’t happen twice, right? Well, turns out I was wrong. I got another unsealed box with loose powder everywhere and parts missing. The colors were STILL wrong. Look, powders look different once you put them on, but when noticeable colors are obviously missing, that’s a different story. So back to Amazon again to return and dispose of yet another used and wrong color powder set. Moral of the story: I don’t suggest this brand. While it has the potential to be a great product, there is something going on in the warehouse. It’s possible SKUs are mixed up, which is why this is happening, and boxes are not being properly sealed. If they fix it, I would consider getting their stuff, but after two bad orders, time wasted, and product waste, I wouldn’t suggest their products. I ended up getting a different brand altogether and paid more for fewer powders, so I’m hoping the quality control with this next brand works out. While talking with Amazon, I asked that this get looked into since having two bad orders in a row like this sounds like a warehouse-related matter. Until it gets fixed, I don’t see this as a reliable product.

First of all I love this, with a little more practice I think I can do a pretty good job. This was my first try, it’s hard to get a good even layer, the cleanest way I’ve found is to pour the powder over the nail instead of dipping. I’m really excited, I’m glad to have something that keeps my nail hardened and from breaking. Let’s see how long it lasts before it chips. Update: I love this stuffff!! Just finished my second try and I’m so proud and in love with the results!! I think the key is to make sure you buff and even out the nails after you apply the activator that’s how you get it so beautiful, even, smooth. Watch a million YouTube videos like I did! This set I’ll wait to see how long it lasts!
