Production Engineering

This book is good for those students whose basic are not clear. I have no confidence during solving the question related production engineering but after reading this I get therotically strong and get more confidence during solving question.I will recommended this to all the students who are preparing for GATE examination.

Good book but some topics are not well explained. You have to look yourself for those topics. Although book covered all important topics so all the topics are found at one place and one does not have to go through different books. Gate questions are not included. Questions do not have any solution but only answer. Very less numericals.

Every mechanical engineer must read this book

The author of this book Dr. Swadesh Kumar Singh taught me Forming, Metrology and Metal Operations and he is a great man with bunch of knowledge that has helped many of the students to IES and GATE... Its absolutely contains all the things he taught and its perfect for any competitive exam containing production engineering under its belt...All the Best...!!!

Here cover allmost but cim is not covered in this book

The only highlight of the book is a nice collection of exam level MCQs. The chapters are poorly written which dosen't even serve the purpose of a review notes. There is no systematic use of symbols in formulae and numericals. The text needs a lot of proofing and rewriting and most of the diagrams need to be redrawn for clarity. Hope the publisher takes up a major review for an improved edition at the earliest. Overall, only good as a question bank.

the best book for manufacturing technology for GATE and IES...no need to study theory other than from this book..the content is just necessary and sufficient for any competitive exam
