Not your typical camping chair!
Let's be honest...we've all gone to our local Walmart or Target and purchased cheap camp chairs to take to soccer games, swim meets, etc. They last for a couple of seasons, provide basic support, are challenging to get in and out of because you sink into them, are difficult to get in and out of their storage bags, etc. You get what you pay for basically--nothing to write home about! These chairs are just the opposite! Yes, they are heavier because they are sturdy. They provide fantastic support and you can get up from the chair without needing a helping hand. They "sit" better on uneven surfaces. They look good. They should last a long time because they are well-made. We are very happy with our purchase...and very pleased with the integrity of the seller, who acted swiftly to rectify an issue which caused damage to one of our chairs. We would certainly recommend this company and this product to anyone!

Good chair for those who can't use soft-seat chairs.
I haven't used this chair "in the wild" yet, but for a living-room tryout it did well. Much much easier to get out of than the chair I was using! Seems very sturdy. On the downside - the velcro pouch on the armrest is flimsy and useless, and the flip-up drink holder will probably get broken off quickly; it's pretty flimsy also. Those aren't important to me, tho. I should note this chair is *not* lightweight. It's not really heavy, but is a bit heavier than a sling chair.

Very sturdy: see Pros and Cons…
Chair is wide enough for larger people, sturdy and comfortable. Is not the quickest or easiest open/fold process. (Takes healthy adult strength, as my mom in her 70s can’t pull hard enough to open it) Also not super portable due to weight, so would not recommend for tailgating, but great for at home.PROS:• heavy duty - have bumped it with my car and it’s still ok• sturdy/ won’t tip or collapse• side table with cup holder doesn’t droop• comfortable• roomy enough for plus size peopleCONS• the open/close mechanism is unique and takes a few tries to get the hang of• open/close requires strength- more than most 65+ or <9 y/o children have

Great for people who have a hard time getting up
I bought these chairs, one in blue and one in black, for my elderly parents. They have had a hard time getting out of outdoor chairs. Most chairs tend to sag down, are to low (or two high), have no back support, and/or feel like they are going to fall when someone puts a lot of weight on handles to try to get up out of the chair.None of these applied to these chairs. One of my parents is 5'10", 230lbs, and the other is 5'2" 275lbs. Both are in their 70's, have had knee surgeries, back surgeries, and either use a walker or cane.Neither one of my parents needed assistance getting out of these chairs. The back and butt support were great, no sagging. The handles were sturdy and supported their weight as they stood up, (with that being said, someone should still be on standby to make sure the handles are sturdy enough for the needs of the party(s) involved). The chairs did not try to scoot back as they sat down, and both my parents felt they were comfortable enough to sit in for at least an hour or two. They were used on both grass and cement/asphalt.Of course, they were comfortable enough for someone without disabilities, as well. They come with a little side pocket and drink holder.I would definitely recommend this product.

Camo chair not worth it
It’s too late to return this chair but I wanted to warn customers that it broke down within weeks of purchased. First one side, which my husband used the fix all product men use (duct tape). Then the other side broke as well. He is a slender man so it’s not due to body weight. Don’t waste your money.

Great chair, sturdy, comfortable.
Great chair- but we are missing the little side pocket. Please contact me and I will revise my reviewUpdate: I contacted the company and they sent us a new chair! I only requested the little missing pocket, but I guess this was the only way they could solve the issue.Great chair, great service, definitely recommend it. We bought this for camp outs and little league games. It’s nice and sturdy, the height is perfect, and you don’t sink into it they way you often do with folding chairs. It also doesn’t tip and wobble on the uneven ground.

Much more sturdy than the cheap folding chairs
Bought one of these chairs a couple of years ago. My wife liked it so I quickly bought a second one for her. After considerable use, they are still stable, and are reasonably comfortable for a folding chair. These chairs are a significant step above the less expensive folding chairs on the market. A minor FWIW: In winter, the chairs are slightly unwieldy to fold and stuff into the storage bag.

Really great overall, just the bag didn't hold up
I'm a VERY heavy woman and this chair is the most comfortable 'go watch the kids play' chair I've had. When I got it the bag was already starting to lose it's seems so I didn't use it at all.. then again I rarely have patience for getting these chairs back into bags anyway. Love the pockets etc. Really great.
