OVE Decors Breeze 32 in. Corner Shower Sliding Door, With Included Walls and Base, Clear Glass and Chrome Finish

At first sight of two large and heavy boxes I wasn't sure what to expect. I feared the installation might be more than I could handle. The installation/assembly instructions are basic, but once you get the idea, they are accurate and adequate. Make sure everything is level, plumb, square and prepped. I did, and the installation was straight forward. The finished product which has been in use for three months now functions beautifully. The look is great and it fits in our new small bathroom very well. The heavy glass doors are easy to operate and underlines a feeling of quality. All in all a great shower!

Love this shower--it is gorgeous and fits into a tight space with excellent feng shui. I should say, though, that it is quite small (the 31 x 31 size). Large-bodied people would be pressed against the glass! Kind of hard to clean, too, to make sure there are no spots between the sliding doors. Perfect for a guest bathroom; it can allow you to fit a full bathroom in a half-bathroom-sized space. I had mine professionally installed and they had no trouble with it; not sure how hard it would be for a DIY installation.

Description of shipped material:The shower unit came shipped in 3 packages. Two of which had the class doors while the other had the walls and base. The glass is very heavy. The items were packed very well by the manufacturer. I had NO issues with the condition of the items. I removed each piece and inspected them upon arrival, as recommended.Instructions:The instructions on installation were lacking about how to affix the walls of the shower to the walls of the bathroom. They were missing dimensions and depths on the pictures in the instructions about mounting.-The base, in the instructions, was a different design than that which I received. The base must have been redesigned and strengthened. It handled weight well when I walked around the should base, felt firm and did not flex.-Cutting holes for the faucet handles was easy once the proper location was measured. Knowing how far the handle would stick out was difficult to measure.Despite this item being a modular unit, from the outside, once installed, it looks very well put together. A good carpenter will help hide the imperfections.This unit can be installed in a location where dry wall has already been installed. The use of molding or caulking can fill the gaps.Ease of installation:The base was easy to install. I had to shave down some material where it mated up to the wall to ensure that it was level. The walls were more difficult to install as this was being installed over drywall. To ensure the walls would stay in place, construction adhesive was used between the wood supports and the back side of the wall stands.

This shower is really nice! We installed this in a small bathroom we had built and couldn't be happier with it. The shower feels pretty sturdy and looks even better. It's so hard to find a round corner shower, and this fit the bill perfectly. Our plumber put it together, so I don't have direct experience there, but he said it wasn't too bad. With prime it even had free shipping! Everyone that sees this shower is impressed with it.The plumber did say that the installation is a little odd, it goes on top of the drywall and has plastic layers underneath with the mortar.

I purchased this from Amazon at a good price and installed it in a renovated bathroom. It came in three cartons; the heaviest one being the glass. Note that it can only be installed as shown (door on right side). The installation manual has few words, and is mostly pictures. Verbiage is in French and English.I had some minor problems in assembling the shower. The fixed glass piece comes pre-mounted to the aluminum frame, which is not what the manual shows. Also the screws that are provided are a soft stainless steel and the heads can be easily stripped out, which I managed to do several times. There are no spare screws.I am very please with the end result. Due to the round shape, it does not feel at all claustrophobic.

The referenced 34" is the size of the two sides of the PAN that go against the wall. The walls are not 34" too. We needed our walls to also be 34" so we ordered two sizes up and got the 38", thinking it would fit, however the curve of the pan in the 38" model extends way out beyond 38" (only the two wall sides on the pan are 38"). Had it not been for this issue we could've used it.What with freight shipping costs and lack of local availability, after trying two sizes of this shower and neither fitting our space, we opted for a shower of a different brand. It would've been very helpful if the specifications listed size of the pan on the wall sides, max-size of the curved part of the pan, and the walls. It was very frustrating and we wasted a lot of time by not knowing those elements, and not knowing the 38" curve was larger than the sides.It's a beautiful shower and should be no problem on new construction, but if you're using this to replacing an existing shower and have specific measurement requirements, you definitely should call Ové and get more information first.

We hesitated to purchase this because of the many reviews indicating how difficult it was to install. But it was really the only product that would work for what we wanted so purchased anyway. My husband and I installed it ourselves. He is very handy and it wasn't as hard as we thought after reading the reviews. We definitely had to watch the video the give you the link for several times and sort of figure some of it out on our own, but it turned out great! One tip: Install walls over drywall but cut out the drywall for the shower pan so it fits up against the studs. That way your walls will fit snuggly against the drywall. We also added a board behind the very edges. Their instructions say to put the outermost one something like 3 1/2 inches in, but we added another to secure the edges and be more stable for attaching the glass walls.
