Better than the velcro
I have these on both my cars. The best means of mounting FasTrak without relying on the velcro sticker - that melts in the sun. Plan ahead because it took about a month for this to arrive.

Better than most
I've had this mounted on my windshield since March 2018, and based on how it compares with other types of holders I've had, I'd say it's better than most, but still falls short in its staying power. I haven't removed it since it was installed, but it recently fell off twice in quick succession, so it appears the suction cup isn't holding as well as it did initially, especially with the colder temperatures. Since the last reattachment a few days ago, it's been holding on, but the temperatures have been more moderate than they were when it fell off. I'm waiting to see what happens when it gets really cold again. Otherwise, it performs as advertised--no rattling, no slipping, no interference with the transponder. Another plus is that it can be used with a variety of transponders. I knew EZPass would eventually be replacing my old transponder with the new version, so I wanted a holder that could accommodate both, and this fit the bill. Even if I have to eventually replace it due to the failure of the suction cup, I'd probably buy this one again.

Works great for both EZ Pass & FasTrak.
I have both FasTrak (California's ETC system) & EZ Pass. This particular toll tag holder is the best one I've ever had especially when compared to the other toll tag holder, "Fast Clip." The EZ Pass-Port is durable and long lasting, very easy to switch from vehicle to vehicle. What's really fantastic about this particular toll tag holder is there's no velcro strips to deal with, thus no adhesive goo left on the windshield which makes it perfect to use on a rental car. Otherwise they'd probably charge a cleaning fee to remove the adhesive velcro strips. This toll tag works well with the "square" FasTrak tags including the new "FasTrak Flex" tags which has the carpool switch in the back. I can't speak for the rectangular FasTrak with this toll tag clip since I've never had one. Now for EZ Pass, I have one because either I or someone in my family in this house goes back to the East Coast at least 2 to 4 times a year. I've only had the "new" EZ Pass which is that small, stubby rectangular one, and it was a bit of a struggle get insert into the toll tag holder, but once it was in, It works fantastic. The struggle itself only took about 5 minutes. Overall I've been very satisfied with product & give it 5 stars.

Works well without needed adhesive.
I have purchased two of these. The device holds the transponder securely, and the suction cup stays fixed on the windshield. This is a superior alternative to the lousy Velcro strips that come with these transponders, where the sun melts the glue, and the entire assembly falls onto the dash, leaving the difficult-to remove glue on the dash cover.

Simple and Effective
I routinely drive on a toll road, so using an EZPass is pretty much obligatory for me. One fine day, the adhesive velcro strips that my EZPass came with stopped working. Thus began a frustrating multi-week odyssey to keep the thing in place with various types of tape and store-bought velcro. But none of it worked...the summer heat kept on making the thing fall off.So I figured there had to be a better way, and I looked on my store of first resort amazon.com and the item that got the best reviews was this one. So I bought it, and when I took it out of the box, my first impression was that I had bought a piece of junk. It just didn't seem like the suction cup would work and that the heat would make short work of it. But over a multi-week period of blistering summer heat, it only failed once and when I stuck it back up, it stayed up there and has been up there for well over a month. And that beats the heck out relying on stupid duct tape and velcro. So I'd say buy it and rely on it.

Couldn't be pleaseder!
Well, I've only owned the product a few weeks. But it's sticking to my windshield fine, and my new MA ezpass was picked up by the electro-scanners on the mass pike just fine as well. This is my first ezpass, so I was worried it may not scan proper. But it did. Took maybe 3 days for the "transactions" to show up on the Mass ezdrive website. Paid 30 cents each way, instead of the 1.90 or so bill I got in the mail for 2-way trips in the past. Sorry if TMI, but I've never used an ezpass before. But the thing I like most about this product, aside from the quality, is that it's made in the good ol US of A! And from Cuyahoga county, Ohio! That's where I was born, back in the early '70s! Love doin' biz with Ohio! Be the first kid on your block to own one for yourself!

Virtually flawless
This is the third I-Pass transponder mount design I've tried. The others had issues with rattling, frequently losing suction especially in cold weather, or warping in the summer heat. This one doesn't warp since it's metal. It doesn't rattle since the clip holds the transponder in a death grip and the single large suction cup holds the clip and transponder away from the windshield. The suction cup maintains its pliability better in cold temperatures than the multiple smaller suction cups used by other designs and thus does not lose suction in cold weather.I've had a pair of these for about two years now in temperatures ranging from 102 degrees in summer to 10 below in winter. In these four combined years of service, only once has one of them lost its suction and fallen off the windshield. The only very minor complaint I have is that the clip holds the transponder so tightly that it's a fight to get the transponder in and out of the clip. This can be a problem for folks with arthritis and such. But the upside to this tight grip is no rattling. In short, this design was very well thought-out.
