VATOSO 48V 20Ah Lithium Ebike Battery, W/ 30A BMS, for 100-1500W Electric Vehicles & Motorcycles, Includes 2A Charger XT60 Connector (with Charger)

I’ve only had it for about a week. Paired with a Bafang BBS02 and it meets my expectations so far. Battery life seems reasonable for what it is, but this is my first e-bike and I don’t really have enough perspective to know how it compares. It’s a cheap battery and it works. I am considering adding a BBS02 to another bike and will most likely purchase again for that bike.

Battery quality seems to be great. The charger it comes with is able to tell when the battery is full and stop charging (though you should still unplug it instead of leaving it at full while plugged in, as with any battery). Very simple to install and I feel it did a good job for the price. Very functional

While the battery accepted a charge and seems to function OK on the bike, I was disappointed with the poor quality control of the battery and components. One of the three screws which secures the cover on the bracket was cross-threaded. The mounting bracket is setup for strain relief of the two conductors which connect the battery to the bike, but neither the two screws nor the strap were included with the bracket. The AC cord for the charger was not secured to the charger body.

This product came in what appeared to be the original factory box with similar packaging. However, believing this item was perfect for the e.bike i have, I unpacked and proceeded to install and charge according to the very meager instructions provided with the product. After attempting to charge the E.bike battery for several hours, it became clear that it wouldn't support a charge and the 4 charge indicator lights remained red. The indicator button that shows the charge light was found to be depressed and wouldn't spring up to its original upright position. This product came defective/damaged. Attempts to seek help from the seller has been unsatisfactory. A refund or replacement hasn't been issued, despite multiple efforts to seek either. 🥺🙁😞

I bought this expecting by the measurements being pretty sure that it wouldn’t fit. It did, it’s just small enough compared to the measurements for it to fit in my down tube area of my bike. I have a “mid-step” cargo bike and the down tube is smaller than most, I was pretty sure a battery wasn’t going to fit. It’s a nice shell and it locks, which is what I really wanted more than anything else. It is packed well and arrived earlier than expected. It powers my conversion kit like it is supposed to and functions like a 48v battery is expected to. Longevity is to be determined.

I'd like to start out by saying I had a little hiccup with the company, but the company took care of it. I'm 100% satisfied with the product, however, just to let you know I have a rad bike which requires a $600 battery. I did not want to buy that battery again so I bought this battery from this company. I did have to make some modifications but after the modifications, the rad bike runs fantastic with this battery.. Those modifications were, I had to cut out the old battery.Use the wires inside the old battery and connected them to the new battery.The bike is good as new.Thanks for this two hundred dollar battery versus a six hundred dollar battery.
