Stiga 3-star balls: Best balls you can get, matched in quality only by Butterfly, in my opinion. I prefer the Stiga balls though, because I find the Butterfly logo to be too stark and distracting while the ball is spinning. Packaging and shipping were good as my set of balls arrived in good order.

I usually would get another brand that are mores expensive and have less reviews but the price of these was very attractive. I have nothing at all to say about these and I do recommend how ever I may not get again as the other brand that was more expensive seem to have a better feel to them.

A bit of background: I'm a table tennis player who competes on a college team. I've been playing actively for over twelve years now. First of all, these STIGA table tennis balls are amazing for the price. These aren't cheap, flimsy ping pong balls you would use for beer pong; they're made specifically to play table tennis. That means that the diameter measures exactly 40mm in length, and weighs in at around 2.7grams. I've found these balls to be very consistent with balls used in tournaments; they feel exactly the same, which is very important when you're trying to improve and win! Having inconsistency within the balls means you miss your shots, and we can't have that now, can we? However, there is a downside to this product. While the specifications of the ball are both consistent and in-line with tournament standards, the material is not. These balls are made of celluloid, which used to be regulation for any competitive table tennis environment, but has changed recently due to health concerns of working with the material, which is very similar to asbestos in that it can be harmful when inhaled (so this would be a problem for factory workers who work with raw sheets). Newer regulation balls are plastic, and while they still share the same weight and diameter, the play is pretty drastically changed. The newer plastic balls do not spin as much, and bounce very differently from these celluloid balls. Now, these table tennis balls are still amazing quality for the price. I would highly recommend them to anyone that isn't interested in competing or playing on a serious level. But if you're trying to improve your game and maybe play against some more serious players, than these balls aren't for you.

Great for at home ping pong with the family compared to the really cheap ones.

Work as expected and not knock offs

Very good quality tt balls. Had a professional practice for 3 hours and they had real good bounce and nice feeling as if we played with tournament tt balls. Definitely would recommend this product.

Las pelotas son de buena calidad, creo que están de acuerdo con el precio, se logra buena precisión en el golpeó y se sienten resistentes, creo que son recomendables.

High quality

the Stiga balls are bouncier and faster than what beginners or veterans might be used to, but there a good choice for practice or for playing. Pricey they maybe but there better quality and so far more durable than your average ping pong ball, would recommend.

This is the second time I have purchased the Stiga 3 star white table tennis balls, with the second purchase being over Amazon. They are very durable, and a pack of 6 lasted for several years of moderate use at an beginner/intermediate playing level. However, we play in the basement where the balls hit uneven surfaces at blazing speeds many times per game, and they survive a lot of wear and tear. Would buy again, hands down.
