My daughters have struggled with GI issues for years, 1 since shortly after birth, the other for the past 2 years. One has been diagnosed with IBS and while the FODMAP diet helps, it is hard to keep a little one to it (she is sensitive to all of the groups), and we still have/had diarrhea initially, now altering to constipation as we were told would happen. The older has had chronic constipation, so bad she ends up with night vomiting when she becomes fully backed up with stool, for the last 2 years. No organic cause found, she has excellent functional behaviors…docs don't know why and told us to just keep giving her miralax…may need it forever. I'm not really ok with that solution, but it was all that worked and at HUGE doses. My youngest son got put on bactrim twice in 6 weeks and was just a wreck of diarrhea (20x/day!) I used the biogaia straws in his bottles and immediately noticed a difference in 24 hours. I have to note, I did use more than 1/ day, he got 4 straws in 4 different bottles for a few days, the BM's were cut back to 3-5/ day while still on bactrim and went from watery/very irritating to his bottom, to much like newborn breastfed BM's in color and consistency. I was amazed. I then cut him back to 2/day on bactrim for rest of course. I did run out 1/2 way through and tried another probiotic while I waited for these to arrive… immediate worsening of diarrhea. So… he still gets 1 straw/day…shaken into bottles and I figured biogaia probiotics were worth a try with his sisters. I tried the girls on 2 tabs a day… They both had an immediate improvement in their BM's. They both have easily been able to pass large stool amounts, quite similar to Miralax results, but the stools were still formed. No pain for either one, a little notable increase in flatulence of both, but not bothersome. To me, just a good sign things are working. We haven't done miralax in 5 days now and I couldn't be happier. I did try to taper them to one a day, but both noted decrease in ease of bowel movements. Went back to 2 per day today! SO worth the cost to me, no miralax, no laxatives… healthy BM's… no tummy aches! I'll try to keep posted as we progress with this.

These are great. My son still has trouble swallowing tablets and capsules, so I'd been looking for a good quality chewable probiotic, and these are working really well for us. He likes the taste and takes them willingly. I also appreciate that they don't contain any of the "bad stuff" found so often in children's medicine (e.g. artificial colors or flavors).

we have been using this product with our littles for the past year and a half. it's really amazing. we started using it when my son had to take augmentin for his repeat ear infections and got terrible diarrhea from the antibiotic. After one dose of this probiotic, literally one dose, he stopped having diarrhea. we skipped it one day while he was still on augmentin and the diarrhea was back. it was insane! part of me thought it was just a crazy cooincidence, but that really happened... so hey, i believe in it.since then we have continued using it. He has been much healthier since then, although I can't say whether it was taking my son out of daycare or these probiotics that were the answer (probably both!!!).when my son was much younger i crushed the tablets and put them into his oatmeal or other soft solid. Now he just eats it up. I tried the liquid version, but somehow it didn't have the same potency or effect as the tablets. If your child is too young for solids, i say crush it up as much as possible and shake it into the milk bottle, rather than using the liquid form.they also have a swizzle stick looking version that you can suck on i think? anyway i highly recommend this product and was super happy to see that it was available online.

My kids like the taste and it helps with the occasional belly ache better than anything else out there.

These probiotics were recommended by our GI Dr. Seem to be working well for daughter. Good purchase!

Started this product because of stomach issues. Seems to be improving too soon to really tell. But pleasant tasting and easy to take.

Although the manufacturer is constrained in whatever claims can be made, as am I, just bear in mind that, chances are, most degenerative ills start in the gut. Then decide if there is a REMOTE POSSIBILITY that whatever ills you face, may be degenerative in nature. I'm no health care practitioner, but I think it's easy to see the benefits of fixing gut health issues.Time and other constraints will not allow me to share all the benefits I've received from this probiotic. However, if you are in your twilight years OR are having some health issues, give this a try for 3 - 6 months. That's less than two doctor's visits and certainly less than most any other treatment you may pursue.I'm willing to BET, you'll be glad you did.

I have taken this for years. It is a good product.
