This is amazingly delicious! I had 12 little meatballs in my dish and they were so good I would have been proud to claim them as my own homemade! The sauce is tasty, the pasta spirals are plenty and I let mine sit on the counter longer than I intended to, so my pasta was somewhat 'sauce logged' but it was my fault. It was still delicious. And quick! Microwave for 1 minute and let it sit for a minute. Also, it isn't just a snack size serving, although it looks small, it is very filling! I like to keep things like this around that are shelf stable and not take up room in the freezer or refrigerator. Sometimes you just don't have time to fix a meal but you don't just want a sandwich. I highly recommend this meal!!! Visually appealing, easy to fix, smooth consistency, lower calorie so I'm going to say it leans towards the healthy side, and definitely worth the money! Now I know those gears are working in your head....go ahead....drop everything and go get you some of these! It's worth it and you will thank yourself later! As for me, you can just thank me now!

The Swedish Meat Balls is one of my favorite Compleats meals. I eat different Compleats several times a week. There are plenty of little meat balls and the noodles are very flavorful like stroganoff. All the Compleats meal are shelf stable and cook in a micro wave in a minute. I do find it helpful to stir them half way through the cooking time. They will be hot, eh?

This review is for the Hormel Complete "Swedish Meetballs", it is a really good item! As usual, I always need more than just this meal, though if you have a roll or a price of bread (1-2) , you could add it and that would be great. I usually like to add a half a can of veggies! This meal, is a prepackaged meal which makes it easier for those who can not cook or if you are to busy to cook. It is also great for a go-bag. Incase of an emergency. This meal is precooked, which is amazing. I love that! All you just need to do is just pop it into the microwave for a few and you have yourself a nice hot meal, even if you do not have anything to add to it. A great shelf stable food for you. A great item for the elderly. A great item for a teenager, who can't cook. Perfect for someone who is disabled. Also, great for those with depression. (They may be to depressed to cook but "know" they must eat.) I personally am a single mother with autism, raising an Autistic daughter and I do not currently have a stove (but I also don't really know how to cook either), but these meals are a way that we can have a nice home-cooked meal. Both myself and my daughter can easily make these. The Flavor: Good, my daughter likes it alot. I personally don't care for it as much (but everybody's taste-buds are different). (To me personally it is alright but I like the roast-beef and mashed potatoes, with salt & pepper and veggies, either peas, carrots and peas, or corn, sometimes green beans.) The freshness: Well, it is a prepackaged food. It is actually good. Value: I actually did not mind the price at all, I normally wouldn't pay that much for meal but I love that it is pre cooked. I also like how long the meal lasts, before it expires. That I like! I also like how I can toss a few into out Bug-Out-Bags and warm it up wherever I am going. It is a nice comfort food to have, It is filling and Shelf Stable!

Besides saltiness and just a little too much potato (which is good if you're feeding and hungry) this is such a fine, convenient well received product. I really like the 300 calories, packaging for shelfs, amount, flavor, and easy of one minute microwaving. The meat and potato is like a home cooked meal with the protein you need. Nice job big company. Future easy food. Decent price point.

The meat was pretty good but was way too spicy. The potatoes were not creamy enough. If I could make a recommendation Hormel, I would include roasted potatoes and carrots with your meatloaf meal. Nevertheless, the meal is tasty, filling, and nourishing, and perfect for buying in bulk. It is excellent for a ready to eat meal option that doesn't need to be refrigerated. If you buy these in bulk and control how much you eat, I promise you, you most likely will eat like a king for weeks if not months. This is also great in these hard times to avoid the hassle of going to the grocery store. And buying these in bulk is a lot cheaper as well! These are full protein meals with a side and is a great way to start any night. Perfect for work, school, camping, hotels, and so much more! I am Jewish, but I can't afford kosher meat and have no access to kosher meat. As the saying goes, the body is a temple. I personally don't believe it would be treating my body as a temple if I don't eat any meat. Mental illness has been directly associated with people who don't eat meat. So, as a Jew without a lot of money, I am choosing to get these meals. And I am very satisfied! For The Sabbath, it is a great way to start Friday Night and have a complete meal, given that I am in a lonely, stressful situation. If you are Jewish and can afford to keep kosher, you should and you shouldn't get this, but if you are a Jew like me with a very little amount of money, or anyone who is limited with money, and you want easy, ready to eat meals that are nourishing and that you can SURVIVE off of, these meals are perfect and will fill you and make you happy. If you have barely any money and are stressed, try these meals! You won't be disappointed and will be happy you did. A great way to change the mood of the night and to nourish your soul.
