This saucer is great on packed snow and ice
Very heavy duty. This saucer is great on packed snow and ice. Because of it's weight, it isn't so good on fresh snow. We wax the bottom before using it. The only issue we had was that the handle's nut/screw came off on the first day. My husband is handy so he fixed it again. We suggest you tighten the handles down before using.

This is a very sturdy snow saucer
If you are looking for a snow saucer that will last, This Is It. This is a very sturdy snow saucer..(Pricey)...but very well made and would last...maybe forever. Sadly, it is SO sturdy (and heavy) that the little ones would not be able to bring it back up the hill by themselves.. I returned it and bought a plastic saucer at Dollar General for 5.00.

Heavy duty sled.
Heavy duty and made to last. Great for kids. Strong enough for an adult but a lot smaller than I like and so cupped you can't lay on it. You need to sit and that's hard with snow pants and being older. Lol. But really made to last

This sled is the best sled I've ever purchased and should last forever
This sled is the best sled I've ever purchased and should last forever. It's a VERY THICK plastic sled that I would dare say is unbreakable (if it was to break you would have to hit something hard enough to not be able to sled again) and they are much "deeper" than original sleds which makes it faster.the only downside I've found to these sleds is the size... they are an in or so smaller than the cheaper saucer sled and could prove to be difficult for some adults (although my 6' 200 lbs husband can make it work but just has to hold his feet out)I would give this 5+ stars if they would make this in like say 32" round for adults (would even be willing to pay $10 more) hopefully they can make this normal size or make multiple sizes one day.WELL WORTH THE MONEY

Made well but too slow
Made great. It's just so slow. It is pretty round on the bottom where the cheap ones have a small flat spot which makes it glide faster. This doesn't work on our luge at home. The cheap $6 are what we will continue to use. I'm pretty disappointed by the ride. Maybe it will be better on big hills.I even paid for past shipping.

SMALLER THAN THOUGHT
This snow sled saucer is smaller than I thought from the provided description and reviews. I bought it for my adult daughter, and she says it is too small for her use.

Anticipation!
Since I cannot comment yet on the sliding aspect, I will say that the quality from what I see is impressive. I bought two, purple and blue, to give to my son and daughter-in-law. Yup, going to get them out there. Right now the problem is no snow--figures. The thickness of the saucer and the handles look very sturdy. I've used saucers and sleds when I was younger and to now (taking dogs sliding) and always manage to dent where they don't slide or break and then really don't slide. Waiting for the snow currently and then it will be a mad dash as to who gets to try first. I was very impressed as to how fast these arrived--just to mention.

Durable but slower compared to cheaper and less durable sleds.
Very solid when compared to the cheaper ones, but the kind you can find at Target glide across the snow much better. We used both the thinner, cheaper, sleds you can get at Target, as well as this durable sled on the same slope.
