Raw Unfiltered Honey by Igmis 3.3 Pound - Wild Flowers - Harvested in Europe

Having grown in a family that valued honey, I always try to purchase additive-free natural honey. That is sometimes difficult to do, so I am glad there is Igmis honey that you can order online. The honey has nice thick consistency, a subtle fragrance of flowers and is definitely a mainstay in my kitchen. Worth it!

First, this is honey is as fresh as it can be. Smooth and golden consistency tells me it came straight from the farm with minimal shipment processing time (not sure how they do it). I know the honey will crystallize with time but I love how fresh and smooth it is right now. Second, the taste is phenomenal - sweet and gentle with floral undertones, and not too bold. I love using it in smoothies, teas and drizzle over pancakes or French toast. This is also a great product for soar throat and cold. The jar was sealed and arrived promptly. Very satisfied with this product.

I bought this as a gift for my parents and at Christmas, my brother and I both had a chance to taste it. We both agreed that the flavor is one of the best we have ever tasted for pure raw honey. I even used some on some Belgian waffles a few days later and found it to be a very tasty change from Canadian maple syrup. I imagine pretty much everything you would use honey for would be improved by using Igmis Pure Raw Honey and am planning on trying it as a sweetener in other things as well.

A great quantity for the price. Very sweet. I love using it for oatmeal. However, the flavor is not my favorite, which is maybe a good thing as it prevents me from eating it by the spoonful.

This is soooo relaxing for a headache! It is so sweet. Also, because it is hardened, it is easy to get out a small chunk for a snack! Just gently massage a fork over it and it softens a little more each time! Also, if it is in hot tea or coffee or food, it just melts right in! I just really wanted the vibe of this regional area also! 😛😜😝😋😘😗😙😍

It's easy to spread but has a weird flavor and slime texture doesn't taste like my local I feel like is bees wax

I like the flavor and feel this honey is pure and indeed raw. I have ordered this product a few times already,, and will continue to use this brand. I like European honey because they are stricter about testing and purity.

Ich liebe Honig vor allem wenn er hochwertig ist. Ich kaufe schon Jahrzehnte Sorten reinen Honig bzw. Wabenhonig aus allen Teilen der Welt.Dieser Honig sagte mir sofort zu er kommt fest an was dafür spricht das er einen hohen gesunden Eigenanteil an Zucker enthält was sich in der Dichte des Geschmacks auch ausmacht.Was oftmals übersehen wird Honig der rein klassisch gewonnen wird ist nicht flüssig sondern durch den Zuckergehalt kristallisiert. Was aber eher dafür als gegen den Honig spricht. Erst durch erhitzen wird der Honig flüssig was sicher am chemischen Umbau durch Zuführung von Wärme liegt.Bin selbst kein Chemiker aber unter Zuführung von Wärme wird ja eine chemische Reaktion angestoßen und damit das ursprüngliche chemische Gleichgewicht verändert.Aber das Wissen darum besitze ich nicht. Was ich beurteilen kann ist der ausgezeichnete Dichte Geschmack nach Blumen, Sommer und süße. Das was einen guten Honig auszeichnet.Und das schmeckt man mit jeden Bissen für mich ein ausgezeichneter Rohhonig wie er sein sollte. Da die süße im Honig von ausgezeichneter Wirkung auf den Organismus wirken soll kann man spüren wenn man herkömmlichen Honig dagegen probiert.Für mich eindeutig eine Empfehlung für einen Honig der weder gemischt noch verarbeitet wurde und daher höchste Qualität aufweist.Am besten Roh auf Weißbrot oder Toast genießen klassisch zum Frühstück.Oder einfach mal naschen oder kalt in Getreidebrei oder zum Süßen verwenden.In Heißgetränken wird bei 40° der Honig chemisch sich verändert so das es mir zu Schade wäre da kann man daher schon verarbeiteten Honig verwenden der auch lediglich süß schmeckt.Noch eine kurze Betrachtung zum Gefäß.Idial ist ein Keramik Gefäß was den Honig vor Licht schützt. Nun für 1 kg Honig wäre das ein sehr schweres Gefäß was sicher eventuell das Gewicht des Honigs übertrifft. Was den Preis dann auch in die Höhe treibt.Davon Mal abgesehen die Ökobilanz zerstört.Im Grunde finde ich ein Gefäß was 💯% BFA frei ist einen guten Kompromiss zwischen allen Bedenken.Der Honig bleibt geschützt wenn Dunkel gelagert ohne das man Angst vor Weichmacher haben muss. Und wer will hat ein bruchsicheres Gefäß was man weiter verwendet kann.Ein Schraubglas findet bei mir immer Verwendung in der Küche oder Haushalt.Daher ist die Verpackung für mich durchaus Nachhaltig und kein Problem. Eher ein durchdachter Kompromiss.Wer kann kann den Honig auch in ein Keramik Gefäß umfüllen und das Plaste Gefäß trotzdem weiter verwenden. Da es ziemlich bruchsicher ist sollte es kein Problem mit den Einsatz geben.
