Small converter block, but unwieldy
This block did not want to stay plugged in to outlets, worked best if propped up with something else. Nevertheless was still sometimes useful on trip to Thailand. We used our other one most often, a converter that ran to wall with a power cord.

Does the job but gets heated
I used this when i was on a vacation to a different country. I never had any issue with the devices i was using it but it gets heated after use. I would suggest the manufacturer to look into it.

Really I tried different kindsThis is the first time: * No sound * No heat * No smell * No complicated orders to useReally it’s simple, safe, quiet and heavy duty oneI used it for my instant pot as converter for more than 6 hours and I left it for 3 days without switched it off and it still no heat no smell no soundIt’s worth itNote :“ I used it from 210v to 110v1200 w “And I tried 3 kinds before itOne has a very noisy soundAnother heated as if it would burnThe last one exploded and left the kitchen with a very bad smell for 2 days and no need to mention what happened to the surface underneath itSo I was very excited to find this oneI bought it about 2 months ago ,using it every day and it still outstanding

Not worth the money AT ALL!!!
My review is going to be a bit in depth so bare with me...First while it does say its 2000 watts compatable that's sorta misleading. For US customers it's a little under 1000 watts compatible. The max amount of amps that the product supports is a little over 8 amps. They get to 2000 watts claim by using the wattage obtainable using 240 volt appliances in adapter mode. I'll spare you the math involved but if your super curious you can google how to turn amps into watts using the voltage of 120 (US System) or 240 (Europe System). Simply put this is why a lot of high power devices like blenders, coffee pots, and hair dryers that are not dual voltage compatible will NOT work with this adapter. A lot of them draw over 8 amps at peak power.Next is the USB ports. I didn't see it called out anywhere but the amperage is 2.4 shared between both plugs. Most charging plugs for cell phones that feature quick charging are 2-3.1 amps per port. So while these plugs did work and charge the phones it does take a little bit longer compared to the quick charge adapters a lot of people use.Next the durability, day 4 on our 8 day trip the plastic piece that slides the plug out decided to break off inside the adapter not allowing us to be able to lock the plug in place... Making that 1 adapter useless now.I was already on the fence about sending this thing back in the first place, but now for sure it's going back. At 40 bucks I expected WAY BETTER use from this product. Since most of the devices we brought are all dual voltage compatible, I just went and bought a converter plug at a convenience store in Ireland for 3.50 euro.Do yourself a favor and just pass on this adapter/converter.

can be used as an adaptor(220v in & out) and/or a transformer (220v in 110v out)
The product arrived promptly, as ordered. I use a CPAP (a continuous flow air pressure machine) all night long. I will be traveling to England (which is 220v) with my CPAP (which is 110v). The plug for a 220v item is different than that for a 110v item. I will be optimistic that all will work well.

We do not recommend this converter
We bought this specifically to go to Europe and Ireland via a river cruise ship and hotels in Ireland. It failed miserably at all uses. Trying to use the iPhone charger on 110 turned off and on frequently and subsequently did not charge the phone. The USB did not do any better. I did some reading and the charger for iPhones is 110/220 and also all my shavers and hair dryer. Although it said it would work with flat irons, the iron never heated on 110 and was not dual voltage. If my other appliances were not dual voltage we would have been sunk. I do not recommend this product. Better to buy a standard converter 110 > 240 or dual voltage products.

Great travel necessity
This came in handy and worked perfectly for traveling to multiple countries around the world....Israel, Jordan, Vietnam, and Hawaii.....had to get a separate piece for Burma but even still was a huge help! The fact that it is a converter and adapter in one was huge.
