Williams-Sonoma Collection: Risotto

I bought a bunch of these here on Amazon for a few dollars each for my daughters who expressed interest in learning how to entertain and cook for themselves and company, most of the books in the series are great for just this purpose, being a Disabled Veteran on a fixed income I really wouldn’t want to pay the full retail price and judging by the sheer abundance of used copies for next to nothing I am not the only one who didn’t.TLDR great when bought used recommended at a used price.

The item arrived promptly and was packaged well. Highly recommended.

This is a treasure of risotto recipes, each elegantly photographed with detailed recipes. I plan to make and eat every one of them

I love risotto but am a novice at making it. This cookbook should help me on my way. Good illustrations and easy to follow instructions. A good book for me in my beginning quest for restaurant quality risotto at home.

I love to cook risotto. My friends love to come over and eat risotto. I bought this as a gift for a friend, and she's making her own risotto now and is hooked as well.There are beautiful photos with each recipe (something I really like). There are over 40 recipes, 6-8 in each of the following sections: Classics, Vegetable, Seafood, Poultry & meat, Special and Dessert Risottos.Has a Glossary and Index.You'll find a recipe you like for sure, and then will want to try making all of them.

My nephew tasted risotto for the first time and wanted to learn to make it. He's 22 and just getting into a place of his own. He has asked me several times for my recipe, so I gave him a written page of instructions but wanted something more, so I bought this. I already have a similar book by another author, but the Williams-Sonoma version, as usual for Williams-Sonoma, is beautifully done, has very approachable recipes, and provides a motivation to get into the kitchen and start cooking.

We love this book and the recipes, but we received this book used instead of new like we purchased.

As for the Risotto book, I had one for a long time and gave it away to a friend for Chrismas. I had to replace it since I missed it so much

After purchasing several books from this collection I bought this one for my seventeen year old niece who is learning to cook. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.

I love this collection and the risotto book is as excellent as the others in this collection. Highly recommend!

This is a cookbook I lost in the divorce. since the divorce I have missed the great recipes in this book. I am glad to have this one back in my library.
