Well I went to a local archery store and he mounted and set up the bowsights and installed the arrow rest and put clamp on nocks
I received this recurve bow today and am very impressed with it. Now I noticed numerous complaints about the lack of assembly instructions on how to mount the sights on the bow. Well I went to a local archery store and he mounted and set up the bowsights and installed the arrow rest and put clamp on nocks on the string to center the arrow and it's now good to go. I recommend this for any novice attempting to set this bow up. A few minutes from a knowledgeable tech and you'll be much happier. This is a good bow set and now I am heading out to the back yard to test it.

this would be perfect to try out
A very solid bow for the price point. I'd say it's more of an entry-level recurve; if you're looking to buy a bow but not sure if you'll use it enough, this would be perfect to try out. It's a full-size bow (there aren't many on Amazon, most are youth sizes) which is great for adults/older teens. The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is the instructions are essentially useless. One of the earlier reviews said "Thank God for YouTube" and I couldn't agree more. Look up how to use a bow stringer (included), which will save you a lot of hassle.

Great bow! Well worth the $$$$$. Just beautiful!
I haven't done any archery in about 15 years or so. I used old fiberglass bows when I did. This is like a work of art to me. I strung it as I have before with with my thigh between the string and the bow. I drew back on it and let it back down as I didn't have an arrow. It was smooth and sweet. I am very impressed with the quality of the woodwork and smooth pull. Can't wait to shoot it.

This is an awesome bow! I can't believe what you get for the price. The sight is pretty good, and is easily removed if you want. Has a mount hole for weight or fishing reel. Shoots good, easy setup\takedown. Add some Quick Shot Finger Savers and you are good to go.

Just in my honest option.
I honestly like this bow. I spent months listening to experts advice when it comes to choosing a bow. For me as someone who doesn't have a dominate hand or eye, I wanted a bow that gave me options. Its a good start with limbs I can replace because its a takedown bow and it's affordable.

I enjoy this very much since I can't use my stronger bow at present do to shoulder surgery. This allows me to keep in practice without causing further damage.

Good bow. The serving at the nocking point could be a bit thicker to help hold the arrow in place but with a brass nocking point installed it should be fine.
