My thumb joint disappears into my hand when I apply any weight or pressure. This put all the strain on the wrist causing tendinitis. The joint just collapses and I have tried the bulky splint but they actually remove use of the thumb and keep it stiff.This is almost like replacing the joint. It is rubbery and fits really snug (definitely measure your palm) I used the size guide and small was perfect fit for my hand and thumb. It does not causing cramp, it does not make the thumb sore. It is comfortable, I fell asleep with it on last night and didnt wake up with a. aching wrist.I recommend this, the price is a little up there if you are broke...but I really wanted to try this and I am glad I did because it is worth the £22.99 for the stability and pain free gear changing! Jar opening etc. I waited for it to go onto a lightning deal and bought at that price.Thank you whoever invented this !

Relieved the pain in my thumb. It was expensive but made from durable material.

Great product, comfortable and does the job. This is a life saver and allows me to get on with everyday life. If I have one complaint it would be that it tears along the join line of the blue and white rubber and would be better designed as one piece. I have to replace it every 4 months

5 * for the relief of aggravated thumb pain have tried many creams/sprays/gloves with no success. Keeps the thumb steady but still allows the hand to work & it is washable ! Certainly glad I purchased ☺️

The Velcro straps don’t feel they will last long . The moulded part is comfortable for cmc pain . Generally a good product . Not sure where to get replacement fastenings from .

Overpriced and not fit for purpose and does not help the osteoarthritis in my thumb one little bit. Returned with refund pending.

Exactly what it was purported to be

This product was very expensive compared to the alternatives and absolutely not worth the price. The quality of the velcro and strap are good, but the actual plastic that the support is made from is very uncomfortable to wear, and the edges dig into the flesh surrounding the support.This might be acceptable if the support was effective, but for me it only holds the joint in place while my thumb is effectively at rest, doing any tasks at all while wearing this device causes my joint to dislocate as if it was completely unsupported. For example, loading dishes into the dishwasher caused dislocation, unlike when using a far cheaper but slightly more restrictive brace that does not use this design.Due to my condition that causes these dislocations, the structure of my hand is less solid and more mobile than most people, but even so I am very surprised by just how ineffective this device was at supporting my joint.Combined with the unpleasantness of the material when I wear it, and the unreasonably high price, I wouldn't recommend this device to anyone, when there are more effective, comfortable and affordable options readily available.
