Recently went to Kashmir and bought saffron from there, it's strands were soft meaning more moisture and less quality. Original Saffron should have optimum moisture. Came across House of Saffron Kashmir Saffron. It exceeded all my expectations with Long Strands, Right moisture with not too soft strands meaning perfect quality It has excellent colour power with original bitter taste. 3 strands of Original Saffron takes anywhere between 2-3mins - 30mins in water for releasing color and this brand was perfect. Tip which I read on their site that crushing saffron threads expedite the infusion process and with me experimenting this, results were true. So House of Saffron Premium Kashmir Saffron is far better from Saffron that I bought from Srinagar, Kashmir. Amazing Quality and very good brand Houseofsaffron !

This is the first "Kesar" I purchased in India can't travel now due to COVID. I too brought it looking at reviews and rating. I don't know how it compares to other product brand here in India. I think it serves the purpose though. I think overall "Kesar" that is been sold in India is not top notch. Why I feel that is because I travel a lot for my work outside India. I do bring in dry fruits or Kesar from outside country. I could feel the difference in quality.

Very Pure Original strong original flavour totally worth the buy...!! I could see the strands stand intact, beautiful, trumpet shaped, still giving out the golden colour after many hours of soaking it in warm water.. Feeling very happy that I have bought a very genuine product. I have been using different brands of Saffron for a decade now and this is THE BEST EVER one..!! Totally worth the buy because I myself do not compromise with quality.. Totally happy, the packaging should not be in transparent plastic boxes because saffron reacts to light and loses its strength in the long run but they have smartly packed the box in black press loc pouches 😊 still they can make the box itself dark coloured or black opaque materials. And so 4 star for packaging otherwise a total 5 star product. Well done Shalimar brand for bringing in the Best original natural Kashmir Mogra saffron..!!

I was looking for an authentic saffron brand. I came across this saffron from House of Saffron while browsing through Amazon. On trying this product, you will definitely feel the original flavour of saffron. Adding this to your milk and desserts will enhance the flavour and fragrance. Interesting to know that this was 1st Saffron brand launched on Amazon in 2014 and was known as Shalimar Saffron but now House of Saffron.
