My laptop lacks HDMI 2 but does have DP 1.4 MST available (but no port for it!). This adapter worked perfectly to drive my 4K display at 60 Hz with pass-through charging.

Works as expected. Does get quite warm when charging device trough it, but nothing too bad

Allows charging of laptop via USB-C whilst allowing display port output via the same USB-C port as advertised.However it doesn't support DP 1.2 as advertised. I've had to set my monitor (HP Z27n) to DisplayPort mode 1.1 in order for the laptop (HP Elitebook) to even boot! Setting monitor back to DP1.2 after boot results in black screen, meaning the adapter itself only supports DP1.1. (I have tested this laptop and monitor combo with DP 1.2 on a CableMatters adapter which works fine which rules out monirot or laptop being the issue).

Work well 4K 60hz with 2017 MacBook retina and then after 2 weeks stopped working. Luckily I was able to return to amazon
