These bed risers are fantastic! For raising the bed, the school gives you a choice between 12” off the ground or your 6 foot son sleeping right underneath old pipes so he can put his desk under the bed. These risers lifted the bed so he was far enough away from the pipes on ceiling and for a ton of storage space underneath. They were super easy to put on, and incredibly sturdy.

Seriously, where have these been all my life! I got a trundle bed a while ago. When I was looking, all I could find were frames that could handle mattresses up to eight inches thick on the bottom. That's fine, but the thinnest mattress I could find was ten inches. I've tried bed risers, but they all failed eventually because they're just blocks under the legs. The problem is, when people actually use the bed, they're not stable. These fix that because the top part acts like a sleeve and gives extra support. They're not the prettiest – they're obviously black square extensions on a round wooden leg. BUT, I'll take the stability over a little bit of a look. They fit perfectly and give just the right amount of lift. I totally recommend these.

5 star because the quality was amazing but we had to return the item because the college bed legs were rectangular and not the standard square style. So we didn't actually get to use the product
