Metropolitan Tea Discovery Loose Tea Pack, Earl Grey English Favorite, 100gm

The bergamot flavor is really prominent, just the way I like it!

I got hooked on Earl Grey when in the Cotswalds in 1985. Since then I've been through a myriad of blends from the obvvious (Twinings) to the famous (Murchees) to smaller companies (adagio Teas). I found this blend at the Queen Charlotte Tea room in Niagara Falls, Canada-a WONDERFUL place if you're ever there. Not only did we eat and have tea there 2 days in a row, but I brought a bag of this home with me. I am addicted to Bergamot, and so many teas either don't have enough or completely lose the bergamot if the tea is overbrewed. Not so with this.I'm also thrilled that the tea is now offered in sealed packages as opposed to the paper bags in the past.Truly a wonderful tea at what I consider a reasonable price for this quality.

One of my favorite tea! I can not be without this in my home! I am very picky about my earl gray tea, and this tea has set the bar high for me. I love this tea. I did not like the cream earl gray, which I thought was odd, because I do add a tad of milk to my earl grays. But the regular earl gray is outstanding!!

Strong flavour and scent, but it's not bitter as some of tea brands, I like the smooth taste with flavours so coherent with each other.I received many compliments when my friends tried it.I will reorder before my bag finishes .

I have tried probably a dozen loose-leaf earl greys, and this is unsurpassed. Full-bodied, not too strong and pleasing finish every time.
