THE BEST
Hands down, this is a must have if you want that expensive downtown NY nail look. I save around $75 to $125 with the stones and more for this French look. Biweekly - $250 plus tip = now going into my savings. It’s easy to use with a milky creamy consistency just like the picture. I previously purchased the beetle brand in the tube with the nail forms and it’s very thick and you MUST use the slip solution. It is very very messy as while you are working on the nail bed - underneath the nails starts to bulk and slide and you have to cure the top and the bottom - but by the the time you finish with the top - underneath looks like a brick. Gets really hard and very very hard to file. I LOVE THIS BRAND AND WILL ONLY USE THIS ONE. I also purchased the Gellen Nails - No More Forms. I will say, get the Gellen nail glue. I cured the nail on with the light pink Gellen gel and to get this look, I then used the light pink Gel with the white for the tips for a light sleek French . I’m going to use ALL PRODUCTS GELLEN. lol…. Took my husband to the nail salon to get a pedicure, my nail tech was like “you ready where you been”. I said saving my money doing my own nails. He ain’t seen me in 3 months… ADD IT UP $$$$

Would highly recommend
Great value and great quality. Worked perfectly. This is a game changing nail painting product; especially since my hands shake. Love it

Smaller than I expected, but I'm satisfied.
Easy to use…

Mess-free application
A very decent set for extensions. The best part is the non-sticky texture - it’s so much easier to handle than other gels I've tried. No mess, no stress. The 4 colors look natural. Would recommend.

.LAMP CAUSES BURNING SENSATION, thoughts after 6 months and wish I could return
First of great packaging ... LAMP CAUSES BURNING SENSATION IN SKIN. My biggest issue in 6 months of using it twice a month is the things I have learnt about what I should do to use this kit at home and for a process to be successful all the elements should be considered. I started noticing that my skin was a bit darker when I used the UV lamp and not only that I started to have a burning sensation, a mild burning but steady sensation every time I used the lamp -had to wear finger gloves to use the lamp when I am drying my polish. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I also noticed my nails needed more cuticle oil and at least 4/5 days of recovery between each time of usage because I felt the surface of my nails to be more prone to scratches and my nails started to feel brittle. The absolute worst of it all, this again could be poor quality nail polish but that's only part of the problem the removal is such a nightmare I cant even begin to tell.T he acetone soaked cotton pads and wrap each finger in foil method does not take 10 mins!! it takes 60 mins + and you absolutely inadvertently scratch off your nail a bit with the polish scraper, not once in all the times I have used this polish and this method have I been able to take the polish off easily, not even once. I have tried the best acetone and gel polish remover and still nothing. They do not come with the kit. All in all, the end results are nice, polish lasts for close to 8-10 days which is good but the long term effects of the lamp and the whole ordeal of removal makes this so not worth it and I think there is not enough discussion around how bad this is for your nails or at least the DIY process of this specific application + removal. Will not recommend. I wish I could return the kit.

It's okay, but.....
Could be a learning curve to using this stuff, but I find it more trouble than it's worth to use. ( My fingers keep sticking together and the product keeps pulling off when they touch, lol). I'm a decent nail painter, but thought this would be useful with gel polish because it hardens over the skin sometimes. But, when the gel hardens over the product, it's not so easy to remove. I suppose removing it before curing may work, but for myself, this would be more of a hassle! Maybe it's better used on another person. It was just ok for me. I'm still going to keep it and practice some more.

A great beginner kit, gorgeous shades, and long-lasting.
A great beginner kit, gorgeous shades, and long-lasting. I bought this Gellen polygel kit because I wanted to start doing my nails at home, and I loved the experience. It comes with four 15ml tubes of builder gel in soft, beautiful colors: peach, light pink, lavender, and natural white. The shades are delicate and perfect for baby boomer, French, or Korean manicures.

This is an excellent product and it is easy to work with. I only have 1 single experience with polygel, and have been doing my nails only since march, so I found this way easier. Perfect fort beginners, perfect for an overlay or a full extension set. Works well with dual forms as well as nail form. Nails prep : Taking care of cuticle Gently buffing the natural nail Installing the nail form or preparing the dual form Dehydrator Bond/primer Base coat, cure For nail form : Thin layer of gel, cure Building the apex, cure Correcting the Imperfections if necessary, cure For dual form : I put a good amount of the product in the dual form and form the nail/lengh I want Carefully put the dual form on nail and while holding, I put it under the lamp for about 5 seconds then I can let go and continue curing for about 2 min Take off the dual form For both technique : Removing tacky layer with rubbing alcohol, Filing/shaping Cleaning off dust Gel polish as usual. Did mine more than 2 weeks ago, and I keep changing the color or filling once every week. Love it! I love it and will happily buy it again.

As you can see in the photos, I did color swatches after two medium thick coats. They cured rock hard in my 48 watt uv/led lamp after 30 seconds, regardless of the color. I think the pink and peach colors would be the perfect cover pink mixed, so I tried that in the other swatch. Its hard to see from the photo but it turned out a dusty rose color- very pretty and perfect for a French or baby boomer. The clear actually has a slight pink tint and weirdly was filled with air bubbles which were hard to smooth out upon application. The white is surprisingly opaque, which I like a lot and will be good for French. These have a nice viscosity, similar to IBD if you're familiar with their builder and very good self leveling properties as well. It remains to be seen how they'll perform on my actual nail beds, but the jars give clear instructions- "must be used with gel base and top coat." I have Gellen's so I'll try that. So why only 4 stars? The pots, though clearly marked as 15ml are filled to barely 8ml. The pink was half empty. NOT impressed by that in the least. So beware. These would be good as a sample, but you'd need much larger sizes if you plan to do more than one, maybe two sets.

All the gels match the picture in colour, but are all very transparent. The clear one is horrible, does not cure properly, and peels off almost instantly. The other colours cure better but still have an extra thick tacky layer after curing, that I have to wipe off when applying each layer or the gel peels off.

I don’t usually write reviews but I felt like I should for this gel. I honestly love it. This is the peach colour with no shellac over top. I just loved the way it looked on its own. If your used to using polys/gels/nail builders this is relatively easy to use. I did use a base coat under and so far has no signs of peeling or (popping) off. Seems as durable as an expensive biogel nail builder is was using before I tried this, so hopefully it holds up the same over time. Seems strong for now and I would definitely recommend for anyone else looking to skip the salon. I would have gave it all five stars but felt like a 4 star was needed in the easy to use category because If you’re new to gel builders you will need to be patient to figure out how to spread this product. If you know, it’s quite easy to use. Helpful tip if your gel still seems “tacky” give it a quick wipe with acetone. It seemed to harden the gel right away even after curing :)
